@@janineanderson1 Google Photos was able to identity two photos of my uncle where one of the photos has him wearing sunglasses. It was also identity two photos of my cousin's baby boy where one of the photos has him hairless at three months and the other photo has him with a full head of hear at three years old. It also differentiate my cousins who are sisters a few years apart when I cannot even tell them apart.

Apparently these don't DO anything. You can't interact with them in any meaningful way. If you think they're there to help you they won't. They won't even summon the police because there's no infrastructure in place to get that information to the dispatcher. Why even have them?

The next feature they will add is the ability to yell orders. The robot will automatically extend handcuffs and ask fleeing "suspects" to put them on. If not the suspects can be charged with evading the police.

it has GPS built in. and it weighs closer to 500 lbs. and the cameras have you on audio and video. not a good idea.

I saw one of these Robot Cops patrolling the floors of a parking garage in San Francisco. I almost walked up to it wanting to ask it where I can pay for my parking.

I don't know how much cops earn but I'd have thought 60-70k per yr would pay for at least one officer instead of this stupid mobile webcam egg. You could probably provide a few drones with cameras too. An egg that only catches the folks attacking it because the dislike the Police or mass surveillance doesn't seem very productive.

Another camera that walks to track and trace you with and replace jobs for people. Way to go America, I love that they said the Gov said this is a great idea. 60,000 tax dollars down the drain.
