ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

It was a quieter side, but certainly just as powerful. Huntley has amazing vocal control and range, and he also has a beautiful tone. I really enjoyed this performance. Huntley is a winner whatever happens on this show!

This was a perfect song choice for Huntley to show his softer side of him and he continues to deliver great performances. This man is the real deal and never disappoints. I really felt every word he sang. There is nothing he can't sing.

His voice sounds like the finest recording - so much texture and air and delicacy and rasp and clarity within all that RANGE and POWER! He doesn't shriek when he goes into the vocal stratosphere - the notes are piercing and thrilling. Huntley has superior tone and resonance throughout his vocal range. A quality of all the great vocalists....

The live audience seemed stunned by Huntley’s performance. They were silent and did not applaud for a few seconds after he finished.

Huntley slayed both his performances tonight - both song choices spot on ! I hope to hear him on radio if he wins ; so far the voice winners pale in comparison to early American idol winners

There are many reasons for that. One being that American Idol winners were fresh talent and were automatically signed with a major record deal. And management. The first 10 winners made at least one million dollars in the year after winning. All the runner ups were also signed for record deals. Winners all had considerable exposure and a full album release within SIX months of winning. The Voice scouts established talents and invites them to audition. Jacquie is 38 years old and obviously a very experienced performer. Mara Justine has competed on America's Got Talent, American Idol and The Voice. She's been singing on TV since she was 10 years old. NBC has geared the show to be about the competition between THE JUDGES. All that fakery that goes on. Adam vs Blake, remember. Then Kelly vs Blake. Then Niall vs Blake. The show is on for 4 months, but the public only gets to vote for who they like for 3 shows? NBC signs people to very restrictive contracts but gives their winners and contestants very little promotion and most haven't ever released an album. On American Idol - the public weighed in every week. The top ten went on tour. The audience relationship was about the contestants. The OG judges couldn't even sing!! The Voice is all about superstar judges and the television ratings they provide. That said, Huntley is exceptional. I voted for him. He is not going to starve. That man will always be employed as a singer. I don't get it when people talk about radio play - like anyone listens to radio?

@@TombCat while 90 percent of what you said is true as a country artist radio plays are huge streaming services like apple music spotify etc are the biggest form of listeners plays radio is second but yes unlike american idol the voice doesnt give promotion to all the contestants on american idol every contestant is shown unless the contestant chooses not to be aired that gives viewers a chance to engage with the artist personally where as the voice only shows the highlighted artist that the judges picked and the occasional no

Well while I agree in voice comparison I disagree with the statement in general. When I think of American idol I think of kelly clarkson, Carrie underwood, Chris daughtry, Adam lambert, Scotty mcreary, etc. When I think of the voice I can’t really remember the names of the winners. I remember casadee pope and that’s about it 😂

It feels like he's just enjoying the stage, singing his favorite songs, and focuses on delivering a best performance, not thinking so much about winning or stradegies. I would love to buy tickets for his concerts!

Huntley perform once again in hour 2 with Another Love a song he cover was by Tom Odell. Like the fog effects in some horror movies, he strummed it. Gwen told told him he love his reindition and loved seeing him get so emotional with the song an effortless try and Niall said and thought he killed it and appreciates as they come on the air in the west coast...

He is so strong in his vocals and confidence on a stage. It's so hard to vote for one person. There are two other ladies i really believe deserve a win. For some reason this young man's voice has me coming back to him. Especially when he sings these slower not so rocky songs. Like the one song he was singing about a Olive branch or something. I loved that song, he sang it better then the original artist. He is strong and if he can do songs like this for radio he will be on the radio all over for years to come. This is so hard. Well here it goes... My vote goes to him!
