Hurrem's Blocked By Mahidevran | Magnificent Century "MAHIDEVRAN GOT SULEIMAN"

As Sultan Süleyman waits for Alex, he happens to see Mahidevran. İbrahim is held resposible for this mistake. Sultan Süleyman stroms at İbrahim. Sultana feels responsible for what happened and decides to speak to Sultan Süleyman but she meets a reaction that she didn't expect. Süleyman sends a letter which he explains his objectives to Hungarian King Lajos via a messenger. Süleyman is determined that he will have a campaign for Rhodes which has been tried but couldn't been conquered before his era. Süleyman gives Alex a new name. It lances through the palace that Alex will be called Hürrem from now on. This news bothers some in the palace. Hürrem's rapid rise gets negative reactions. Mahidevran punishes Hürrem heavily with the help of Sultana. Mahidevran tells Hürrem that she can save her from this punishment but she has a condition.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Lol Mahidevran acting like an insecure idiot from day 1 I see 😂 But I like that Suleiman didn't act badly to Mahidevran's face, but instead got mad at Ibrahim for not doing his job properly and Valide for trying to interfere with his Harem.

In this I see both Sultans insecure. Even Hürrem will do the same with Fortuna Isabella but I don't blame both of them: see the man who you love with other woman, I will use a pan against other woman in Mahidevran's and after Hürrem's shoes🤣🤣🤣

@@ramn_bennington I agree, they both were insecure, we can't even judge them. It was only that Haseki Hurrem Sultan knew her place, how to do things and the risks, she understood her Sultan and so she ended up not suffering as much. Still sorry for them all though 💀 Forget the pan, I had a guy tell me he was handsome and rich so I shouldn't mind if he has a second girlfriend, I reminded him when we first courtesy I told him "either tell me you want to be with someone else and we part like the red sea or I find out you're cheating and I kick you where it hurts a LOT and you could lose your family jewels but my heart is not a toy" 🤷🏽‍♀️ I kicked him where it hurt. Fair warning was given. I left also. Bought a nice new teddy bear 🧸 and went to watch "sleepy princess in the Demon King's Castle" I think that's the name, went to sleep woke up and felt so good 😌✨✨

"I worked my a$$ the whole day, I am trying to sleep!" 🤣 And then only for him to listen to Suleiman throwing a tantrum coz he didnt get to be with his new crush. Oh snap, seeing this again from the beginning shows how much of a jerk Suleiman's character is...I mean, you only saw her dancing for you and you're reacting that way. If you want many women, then ALL of their happiness is your responsibility. You just don't ignore your present sultanas, that's how they get jealous, and hate, and kill each other.

I feel so sorry for Mahidevran. What a beautiful woman is spurned by the Sultan, and her whole happiness had depended on that relationship. Unfortunately she didn't have any private interests that could sustain her and suffered so terribly all the time.

Well, she is a 17 year old girl who is pretty traumatized from being captured, enslaved and thrust into a completely different enviroment. So we're dealing with a very traumatized teen here. Teens aren't always super mature to begin with and then add on a ton of recent trauma and it becomes a lot less surprising why she acts the way she does.

This kinda gave me the analogy between Mahidevran sultana and Hurrem, and in the distant future, Hurrem sultana and Firuze. I guess the plot can be repetitive, but I like to think of it as parallel. Tbh, I really dislike this young Hurrem (I miss the elder and wise Hurrem sultana in the final season). Hurrem is young, not stupid, why is she acting this way! (cmon, it's just one night, and you hate the Sultan remember?) And I wish she could've been more "fun and joyful" (as in her name); the concubines were playing pillow fight with her, and she's all hateful with her reaction. Meanwhile, I notice that Valide Sultana had always been strict with Mahidevran. She might be fond of her and despise Hurrem, but she's always put Mahidevran back in her place. I guess if young Hurrem wasn't such a cringe Hafsa may have been even more fond of her than Mahidevran.

Love Gülfem's attitude here, wish she stayed like this. Mahidevran was just rude and arrogant. And in the scene where she saw Süleyman again it was clear that he didn't love her. In their first night he sent her away after halvet

Suleiman is a gentleman. Even Mahidevran took Hürrem's place he show her love and affection and don't blame her for don't make other wars in his harem, even if he is sad. Mahidevran and Hürrem are lucky❤

Well!valide supported mahidevran from the beginning..also hatice and the other born sultana's..except suleiman..if she and the whole sultana's would support hurrem..she myb will be more powerful... But it's clear....she winned by her own struggle..and suleiman and her chilldrens supports...🤧

People get brainwashed so easily..just because Hurrem was the main character doesn't mean she wasn't evil..Mahidevran was only a human who did some bad things because the man whom she dedicated her life to left her as if she was nothing..I'm not saying Mahidevran was pure angel but Hurrem wasn't either
