Honestly her saying “it will harm everybody except me” was great foreshadowing. All the Sultanas after her who wore the ring, as a symbol of power, had to die after losing their power but Hürrem had the most peaceful and graceful death among all the Sultanas, dying with the man she loved the most and with all her children.

She died after apologizing to her enemies. She died after she had a great feast w her loved ones. I genuinely believe the ring was cursed. Because Nurbanu stole it off of Hurrem's dead body when she wanted to be buried with it. It became cursed so that every woman, who had the title of Haseki/Valide Sultana, wore it would suffer great misfortune and would die horrible deaths. I wonder if the ring was ever returned to Hurrem's grave and if not, where it went.

For all those who are saying hurrem didn't have a peaceful death also - hurrem died naturally with disease... Suleiman was alive so she died as haseki Sultana...she was not stabbed forced and poisoned by her enemies or upcoming successors nor she ended up like mahidevran who has no one at her side...she died with Suleiman and her children actually mourning for her which is her greatest win. We all know how nurbanu, safiye and kosem ended after having such a great power. Hurrem also had sorrows and pain in her entire life but she didn't died in a game of power because she won all those games way before. She is left a only powerful sultana at her regin So, yes she has peacefull and dignified death

I like how the director shows us in an indirect way the death of everyone and in a smart way, as Hürrem and safiya died wearing green, so the power of the ring killed them ' Mustafa Ibrahim, the Sultan Gihanger, and Khadija died wearing white cause they were Innocent while Sultan Ibrahim and koem.In black Because they were criminals

You're right. I noticed that in second season of Kosem, the emerald stone got changed. The first one was real but, the second one was a low quality stone. I think it's because they have to keep that previous ring in Dubai(I forgot what that's called) They have some expensive things used in Magnificent Century.

While hurrem she only want sultan sulieman not the throne or the power if sultan sulieman die she promise that she will die with him she don't want to become a valide sultan she only want sultan sulieman the difference between sultan hurrem and sultan kosëm. We must not confuse the series with reality. Although in the series Hürrem wanted to be buried with the ring, in reality it was not possible . The Islamic way of burial is ash to ash, meaning in the ground with only a cloth covering the body and cotton stuck where bodily fluids can escape. No coffin either.

Mahidevran Sultan wear Hurrem's ring and many years later after that she lost her son. Nurbanu Sultan wear Hurrem's ring and many years later after that she was deposed of any Power, exiled and alone. Safyie Sultan wear Hurrem's ring and many years later after that she commit suicide by poisoning. Kosëm Sultan wear Hurrem's ring and many years later after that she lose all of her children and children in law and have finished sentenced to death. Turhan Sultan wear Hurrem's ring and many years later her Power have declined strongly and she have been exiled and she died alone.
