i think its very lucky that Jamaica wasnt hit so hard. I was there in Ocho Rios for Hurricane Gilbert Sept 12 1988, and let me tell you, it was much different ! Jah bless !

Can't say the same, I reside in the south and I can tell you that it was MUCH worse here. Roofs gone, trees flattened, containers toppled etc.

You’re more on the North side of the Island which did’nt experience what the South experienced. I have families in St Catherine in the Spanish Town area and St Andrew the Kingston area and they reported a Cat 3, Cat 4, 120 to 135 MPH wind and sustained damages. We still haven’t heard from them. Looks like the phone lines are down.

U wrong. St Mary, Portland,St elizabeth, ckarendon, st mary were all hit hard. Kingston had it easy. Mostly Tree danage. He is in St Mary .
