Hurricane Ian pushed a path across the state of Florida, with our Shop Tool Reviews shop in its path. We lost a huge oak tree that took out a tool shed and well pump on its way to the ground. HART sent us the new ‪@HARTTools‬ 40-volt Brushless 16" Chainsaw for review, at no cost, just a few days before. With just charging the battery and adding bar oil, we were able to diminish the oak into bite-size pieces. This 16-inch saw is pushed to the limit cutting through 15-inch oak trunks, but it's an easy task to handle the 6" to 10-inch stuff. You can get the HART 40V 16-inch Chainsaw from your local Walmart or at Walmart.com. The kit with the Chainsaw, 4Ah 40V battery, charger, and case is $274 and it comes with a 3-year warranty. #chainsaw #harttools #walmart

Hart is a sister company of Ryobi! I love Hart tools! I’m a woman with no help at home. I do all my own maintenance and for smaller projects, you can’t beat the price or dependability. I’ve had my Hart lawnmower for 3 years and it’s still going strong.

I jus/ picked the same saw at Walmart for 90.00 dollars ready to go plus a hart leaf blower for 80.00 dollars i did that for the extra battery and charger. Tried the leaf blower and it works great.

First thing first I love watching this channel because of the detail review of all the tools. And I like the way that each demonstration of the tools are very informative and clear. This Hart chain saw reminds me of DeWalt battery-powered chain saw how it have serious power to cut through thick wood. Excellent 👌 video content quality I truly appreciate it. 👍👌😎💯.

I am a Hart tool user, and I was debating on what chain saw to get from Hart chain saw to use. This definitely helps me decide. I do love other brands, but for the price of Hart brand and the quality you get. Is pretty impressive. I grew up on an island in Michigan's great lakes. There is a lot of clean-up after storms. I grew up on STIHL and Homelite chain saws, but Hart as an adult never done me wrong. It works every time I use it. Sure am glad u and ur family are ok.

You are correct. It's a great idea to get your batteries charged before the storm hits, or you better have a generator. Thanks for watching.

We live in Cape Coral and got absolutely hammered and lost 7 trees. When my gas powered chainsaw refused to start after sitting in storage in the garage for 5 years since the last hurricane hit my house, i decided its time to go electric. I went with the Ego 16 inch and was shocked how well it worked compared to my 16 inch gas model. Plus I never have to worry about it starting or waiting 7 plus hours in line for gas after a hurricane comes through. I will never go back to a gas chainsaw.

While I live up in the DMV area of Virginia, like hundreds of thousands of other people, I’ve seen first hand what hurricanes can do. My dad lost his house and damn near everything he owned to Florence in North Carolina. I also have family in Ft Myers. Nobody escaped damage but they were lucky with only moderate wind damage and no flooding. One of my coworkers parents has a town house on Boca Grand and they’re still waiting to hear about their property. While I don’t know where you live and work I was thinking about all you guys as I watched Ian pretty closely. I’m glad to see you posting a video and I hope the relatively “light” damage you showed was the worst of it. I hope all your friends and family are ok as well or at least as well as can be expected.

Great Video man, Thanks. I was feeling a little sick about what I just bought because i did NO RESEARCH at all about these or any electric battery op saw. I had to jump or not get it right then though. I have a dewalt 8 inch pole saw that is amazing and I have been over working that saw this year because I have gas saws around here that need attention I have been kinda lazy about that. LOL I was feeling sick about my purchase ( I's not a wealthy guy here ) I spent 167.00 on this same saw. I know, you just said people people pay 274.00 I got the full kit with the 4Ah and an additional 6Ah all brand new in the packaging ( I have not even opened any of it because I was feeling so bad that I bought this without knowing anything at all about it I thought I would maybe return it or sell it to get my money back ) all for 167.00 tax and everything out the door of wally world, it is literally still in the truck. so it turns out that the second battery I got with this cost enough to pay for the whole saw and supercharger and the battery it came with. LOL WOW! I could sell that second battery and come out with a free set up. That is kind of insane. No longer feeling and about my purchase. I probably will not sell that other battery though as it does seem pretty cool to be able to have a back up while the 1st ones charging. I wish you had covered run time but I guess I will find that out eventually. I wonder if anyone has put a bigger bar and chain on one.

Great on the fly review of Ryobi’s baby brother saw! I wish Ryobi would add a full case to their saws like Hart. Glad to see y’all made it out safe from Ian!

On large cuts I would switch out the battery with a fresh one. Your batteries will last longer if you just allow them more time to cool down. Pulling it out is just kind of like tricking it to reset the cut off but the cells are still hot cells do not being hot.

love these saws. i got the ryobi version, same thing except for the battery. i bought the 14" one, took the bar ond chain from my dead 16" gas ryobi saw and threw it on the battery one, a little bit cheaper. anyway it runs as well or better than the gas one did. tha batteries and saw will get hot it you're pushing it, but for cutting up firewood like i do you shouldnt have an issue. i filled up a truckload (8 foot chevy dually bed) worth of logs, i had to cut up a bunch of fallen trees and used one 40v 4ah battery and made about 3-4 more cuts on another battery. hart/ryobi saws are definately worth the money, just depends on which battery you already have.

I bought one of these after getting a 40v Hart weed eater. I figured it would give me extra batteries. It works well for small and medium limbs. And, my wife likes it because it is much more user friendly. I think I found the chainsaw on clearance in the store for $78. I guess they were closing out things that wouldn't move in the store.

Hart vs Milwaukee chainsaw. Which one should I buy.
@Shoptoolreviews
@Shoptoolreviews Жыл бұрын
That's a pretty big cost difference. The Milwaukee seems to have a little more power and seems to have a more professional handle and controls. The HART is a great choice for the homeowner with ample power and performance. The price is hard to beat too. Thanks for watching.

That's funny. Yes, the HART brand has been around for decades, but they were just hand tools. TTi bought them and then expanded into a power tool company to be sold exclusively in Walmart. Thanks for watching.

Two questions... Would a aftermarket Panther bar and chain fit on this, something like a 12"? and Do most chainsaws have a standard mounting bolt pattern?
