I guess Tom's lovergirl didn't exactly appreciate him leaving his wife when she had breast removal surgery to prevent breast cancer. She figured he was too superficial for her and he would abandon her if she got sick.

People like him don't deserve love,to selfish for it,chooses looks over the health of his wife,basically wanted her to turn down life saving surgery,so he can keep his bragging rights that he has a hot wife. A woman's breast isn't what makes her beautiful, her heart is ❤

Poor Ina. Her mother died when she was so little. If her mother had lived she could have told her daughter to ask a man before marriage, "What would you do If I became paralysed and had to be in a wheelchair the rest of my life?" Need to get the right reaction, or don't marry a selfish man.

What a selfish husband he's no man at all. Having breast cancer is life and death. All women need support from their husband in that time of need. The body changes but the heart shouldn't.

I was diagnosed at 28, I thank God I have a good man that truly love me. Doctor's even told me how lucky I am some men leave. My first love stood with me, I was told I could never have kids, broke my heart that I wouldn't ever be a mom and the fact I can't give him a child. God had the last word! During chemo , radiation, I found out I was 3 months pregnant with twin boys. I'm 34 now still with my hubby and I got the family I always wanted. I Know longer hate my scar's, I look at it as strength, I'm a fighter. God bless all cancer survivor 🙏

My niece is fighting breast cancer now. She was diagnosed, got chemo and a double mastectomy and briefly was doing well. At a follow up they discovered it was back with a vengeance and had spread. She's barely 30, she and her husband have two toddlers. She's been doing things on her bucket list now. I don't know if I could ever have her strength. And her husband didn't cut & run. He's working, taking care of her and the kids and I'm sure inside he's going out of his mind. His mom and my sister-in-law are doing everything they can to support them through this. Never once did her husband say don't get them removed.

It true! Someone that you love can damage your self worth. It has taken me 28 year to finally take back my life and learn self love.

I choose my health 😌 because health is more important. When I 🤔 was 21 years old 😢, I wore a simple pair of black ⚫ flats 😋 to my cousin's wedding 💒. It was icy out and my flats were skid-resistant and slip-resistant so I wouldn't slip on the ice 🙃. When I got home 🏡, Mommy yelled at me for wearing flats 🙃 to the wedding and told me that I should have worn heels. It was icy out. If I wore heels, I'd slip on the ice and break my bones. I even told her about it and she said, "if you are unable to walk in heels and find them to be uncomfortable and if they give you blisters and make your feet bleed, then you must have been born male." The same thing happened when I was 15 years old. It was 80 degrees outside and I was on my period. Mommy made me wear a heavy wool trench coat, a sweater, my dress, pantyhose, and heels. I asked her if I can wear flats and she said, "no! You look like a 10-year-old! By the way, this outfit is much more girly and feminine." I was drenched in sweat. When church was over, it went up to 90 something degrees. I tried walking down the wheelchair ramp, but I fell down and my cousin Ben had to help me up. The same thing happened when I was 14 years old. Me and Mommy were buying a pair of shoes for my 8th grade dance. I asked her if I can just wear my flats and she said, "no, Hannah. You look like you're in elementary school. Guys don't dance with girls in elementary school. Wear heels. You'll look more your age." The same thing happened when I was 11 years old. I wore a simple pair of flat Mary Janes shoes to Grandma's funeral. Mommy got very mad at me and demanded why I couldn't wear heels. I told her that heels are uncomfortable and that I was 11 years old, didn't get periods yet, in the 5th grade, and still in elementary school. Then she made me wear heels to my uncle's wedding. She said that wearing heels will make me more womanly and more grown up. She even made me wear her oversized coat. Did I look like a woman? No! Did I look like a little girl playing dress up in her mommy's clothes? Yes! The same thing happened when I was 18 years old and 167 pounds, which is moderately obese for someone of my height. Mommy made me wear heels to graduation. I could barely walk in them, but she kept on telling me that I must have been born male if I'm unable to walk in heels. And she also overreacted when I chose to wear sparkly white flats to senior prom. I was 167 pounds and heels were too hard for me to walk in. I was almost late to accept my diploma for graduation. Really? Do I have to bind my feet just to attend a social event or to dance or when someone dies or gets married?

So pleasant story for empowerment of women ....it's true that a person should always listen her conscience. It inspires women greatly....and thank you for making such inspirational story.

This sounds all too familiar. Years of verbal abuse is hard to get rid of...actually it doesn't go away BUT it does take time to deal with it & go forward.

Being healthy makes you even more beautiful. I never would like a Brittle partner over a healthy partner. Any experiments are okay , but only those which doesnt cost your health. The man in this story was much more than Insensitive, cruel, hateful, selfish, and self-centered. He cared only about himself He didn't even Care about his wife's health, well-being, or her life. He rather have her sick and dying with cancerous breasts and die, than help her get surgery. What her husband could have done was he could have researched to see if there were any other medical alternatives to saving her life other than surgery. And if surgery was the only option, then he should have been totally supportive of his wife, and helped to encourage her during the surgery to remove the cancerous to Save his Wife Life. I would have been very angry if my wife had breast cancer and didn't have the operation. I would march her down to the surgeon and get booked in for the first available operation. Every woman MUST do a breast self examination once a month. When I was a medical student I was doing some training in my Dad's clinic. He was a family doctor. A lady came in with a lump in her breast and he asked how long she'd had it. She said 8 weeks. In the nicest possible way he shouted at her saying that if a woman notices a breast lump he wants her in his clinic within a week. It was obviously a cyst and he sent her to the breast surgeon. He also demanded all female relatives come to see him within a week because breast cancer runs in families. Now once a month we used to have a big family dinner. All female relatives had to do a breast self examination before dinner and once every 3 months he'd check you himself. it wasn't to be nasty. It was out of fatherly love. Also never forget MEN can get breast cancer too. The breast is rudimentary in men. Nobody should die of breast cancer as we have a good screening programme.

She was smart to get the surgery to save her life. Health is much more important than beauty. Remember girls, outer beauty is only skin deep. Inner beauty is true beauty. Serves Tom right for only treasuring only outer beauty. Now he is all alone, and it's his own fault.

Every year I have a mammogram because I have a real change on breast cancer. They started when I was 20. And had discus with my docter what to do when they found something and it was no issue for me that I would do surgery if it would save my life. When I met my hubby and we start dating I told him what was going on and what my disision was. So he knows what was going on so he could run 🤣before it began really serious between us. He stayed and every year he is going with me when I have my check up.

She should have left him the moment he even suggested the curve surgery (I don't know the correct term).or should have forecasted such situations when they were dating

If someone feel on a treadmill, I'd hurry to make sure someone's ok. The husband just said "stop pretending", that fall could've been fatal.

Having a mastectomy to save her life makes her MORE of a woman in my book. Anatomy does not make a man or a woman. If it did, then every person who got testicular cancer or breast cancer and did something about it, (or other "sex specific" disorders) would suddenly no longer be the gender/sex they were assigned at birth

My Mom also died because of cancer first she had breast cancer she removed it but the cancer spread after few years of operation we tried our best to save her but she died . When she died I was 18 years old , I miss her a lot ,so please listen to mom what she says she thinks for your good only .
