He is a spineless jerk who had the nerve to ask his wife to get rid if his skanky mistress who would not let go. They are both still low lives who have no respect for marriage, the wife, son not themselves. They will have to deal with the consequences for what they did. She played the card, I know no one, help me pls. That ploy set him up to feel the hero. Yes, he should have, could have been stronger...but bottom line that young woman set her fantasy on being with him. No respect for his marriage, no thought of his child and she quickly gave him, food, soccer and more to manipulate him into thinking she is fun, she cares all the time running down the wife who was looking after him, his health, his business and his family. The guy was spineless in this drama, a complete fool. His wife was his rock. The mistress was fun that became deadly. It might be a drama, but it is a very real story for many. Infatuated women who become mistresses destroy the very thing they say they love. Men can do the same. You are right, cheating is cheating, this drama shows very clearly how quickly you can be mislead, fooled and ruined. There was no love for this mistress, she was desperate infatuated and hoping for a easy ride of wealth. It was that clear. 🤔

I don't think he loved the mistress. He was just infatuated with her and got his ego boosted being admired by someone young and attractive. Perhaps she made him feel young again. But that's just fleeting emotions; when the honeymoon is over, he'd kick himself for letting down such a good wife and son.

Nothing but 30. And this drama was nothing but AMAZING. I’m not exactly 30 but I am nearing that age. So many good lessons to learn from as a woman and how to deal with pressures from society. You will love gu jia (the girl in the video). I think she has completely altered how I want to live the rest of my life. She’s elegant, smart, and so courageous. So many satisfying moments from her alone.
