Thank you for this thorough review, sir! After doing some extensive research, I recently purchased the 120 volt version from Home Depot (currently selling for about $40). Haven't had an opportunity to use it just yet due to my recent purchase. Looks like you can use this unit on car tires without the included gauge extensions, although the gauge extensions do look nice. The LED light is a great idea too. Cool that they also give you two (tire stem caps?) as well. I have yet to come across an inflator that actually gives you something like that.

The 120 volt one is better, basically because the 12 volt models seem to have issues with fuses at times.

i was so lucky i got the 120 volt at 19.95 and my only regret is that the 12 volt was also the same price but i didnt buy it....used it twice already works great will purchase again the 12 volt when it has sale

Not a big fan of any 12 volt models. Most other brands didn't seem to last for me, maybe the fuse in those cases. I have used the 120 volt one a lot no issues. I returned the 12 volt ones because I liked the 120 volt a lot. The 120 volts cost me I think $29.99 but you did better.

I bought the 120 volt but unsure what gauge extension cord to use. The 17" cord on the inflator is 18awg. I will be buying a 25' cord but can't find a 18 gauge 2 prong. Would a 16 awg work without issues? I also can't find the amps this model pulls.

It draws 1.1 amps so like 132 watts. A 14 or 16 awg will work no problem. The lower the awg the more power the cord can handle. You got the better one with the 120 volts rather then the 12 volts. If you paid more then $19.99 they have it for that amount at home depot online right now.

IIRC HD will give you back the difference in price if it goes on sale for less within 30 days. A lot of people don't know this. Good luck. "Home Depot will price match products from any retailer. So long as that product is identical and in stock at both stores. However, Home Depot won’t just take it on your word; if you want them to price match a product, you must bring proof that you can get it cheaper elsewhere."💯

I like the 120 volt one, it doesn't depend on 12 volt fuses. I would only use the 12 volt one when 120 volt not available.

About how long is the inflator line? Long enough that if the tire valve happens to be at top it can reach with unit sitting on floor? Good review. Thinking of buying the 120V, but wanted to know about inflator tube length. For the money, seems like a decent product.

@@DesignBuildFixReview OK thanks for reply. Thought I read 28" for the 12v on HD site. Imagine 120V same.
