The carburetor replacement on this saw is the most aggravating one I have ever done. Once you figure out all the tricks it all makes sense. But till you do you end up with a mess of moving parts that you have to work with. I did learn something from you about the linkage connection. I didn't know that the black plastic piece came apart. The saw that I am working on isn't mine .doing it for a friend. Due to the aggravating work that needs to be done when making repairs I can honestly saw that I can't recommend this saw. It's like working on a Volvo. Thanks for the vid.

Besides that I couldn’t really see anything you were doing ,nor did you explain it, this was a superb video.

Enjoyed following this video until the replacing everything point. However keeping a note and watching back how it was disassembled helps. I found I did not need to remove the throttle linkage wire if I was just servicing the carburettor. There is another Similar longer video by wicked repairs.

No carb gasket... my new carb came with a gasket and the old one just has like o rings or something... do i need to use the new paper gasket ?
@tusheeNaydenov Жыл бұрын
It must be like paper gasket (I think). Recomend to change if the old one is not good.

I swear you are doing something at 1:20 I can't see what you are pulling off to get the black plastic assembly off. Our saws must be different. It looks like you are disconnecting the wires but I can't figure it out. I still got it apart but had to do it differently. I cleaned up my 440 and now it starts. I'm working on my 435 now. I did notice the spark plug wire is worn through to the bare wire from rubbing on the plastic. The saw is only a year old.

This is why I my opinion Stihl are better saws, maybe not performance but easy in fixing

You didn't plug in the two wires from the coil to the choke on the new carb. Slow down!!!
@tusheeNaydenov3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I didn't. I realize that when starting the saw and can't turn off the engine from the red button, so had to repeat all procedures. :((
