Hi! Pro tip. if you buy the pre mixed fuel in containers you can use the spare nozzle from the jug to pour it in to the combi jug. Also the nozzles will automaticly stop when the tanks are full. You dont have to look all the time. Thanks for the video.

Hi Jason!!😀😀 I've had one of those jugs for a couple years now. I run the other spout on the bar oil side. It seems to work better for me. When it comes to filling the gas. Just stick it in the tank and listen till it stops making noise and it is full. Never spills a drop. Best combo can I have ever had!! Take care my friend!! Logger Al

Faced with a similar situation of carrying my tree cutting equipment into the bush on my Honda ATV, I opted for a Hard Husqvarna Chainsaw Box. In the box, I have room for a 5 litre pre-mixed fuel/oil, a 1L bar oil container, safety glasses, ear protection, chainsaw chaps, spare chains, 4 tree wedges, 6 foot nylon tree saver strap, spare spark plug and wrench, chainsaw file(s), bug spray, tape measure and a small hatchet. I keep it tied down with a ratchet strap across the back rack of the ATV. I find it convenient as it can removed it in seconds and placed in the truck or shed. I also store the ratchet strap in the box when not tied down to my ATV.

I used it in the woods yesterday Ed. It is awesome. I don't think you can spill gas. Basically shove it in the tank and depress the spout. It stops filling when it makes contact with the gas in the tank and when you pull out the nozzle, the gas level is perfect in the tank so it doesn't overflow when you put the gas cap back in. I don't think Stihl has that problem anyways but Husqvarna's sure do! Thanks for stopping by, Jason.

I have one of those gas cans for a couple years now. I love mine! Couple things I like to mention. When I leave mine in the shop I turn the gas spout a bit to the left and loosen the collar. This lets any pressure that could build up come out of the can and turning it to the left reminds me the collar is loose. Or before you turn the can upside down to fill the saw. Push down on the fill collar on the spout to release the pressure. Right after I got the can. I experienced the pressure build up and when I pushed it into the saw gas tank it came out with quite a force and made a big mess! This could cause a fire with a hot saw! Also when filling the gas just push it in and listen for the gurgling to stop. When it does… it’s full and you will not spill a drop. Same as the oil but be patient ( I call this time my rest period, lol) it’s slow on-less you want to use the other spout. 👍

That gas can is great, I have used their earlier model for about fifteen years now. That model has straight nozzles. In that model the nozzle is so thight that I have to let the pressure out before putting gas in the tank. I also have a couple of their 15-liter model that I use when I refuel my smaller boats. @OakMountainAcotts Жыл бұрын
Hi, good question! There isn't a measure on the jug itself but most saws require a 50:1 gas to oil ratio. I believe this jug holds 5 litres of gas so that means you need to add 100 mls of oil to it. Husqvarna sells convenient packs of mix oil in 100 ml containers so I simply put in 1 container of mix oil and then top up with supreme gas to the 5 L mark. Jason

Well... The "spare" nozzle isn't a "spare" it's designed to fit perfectly on the Aspen 5L yars to fill your gas section. That's however the _only_ fuel you should actually ever run in your chainsaw. The fast fill nozzles are designed to put exactly the right amount of fluid in the tank. It will not overspill as the ingenious airlock will make that physical impossible. So just push down and wait for the flow to stop and you are done.

I have had one of these cans for the past two years. They're not nearly as good as you make them out to be. The no-spill nozzle for the fuel mix on mine worked fine for about two months, but then it would not shut off fully when the fuel tank was full. After looking at some internet forums and seeing some youtube videos, it is apparent that this is a common problem. The no spill nozzle for the oil is also a problem. It is too slow. It is much better to replace it with the full flow nozzle which is a lot quicker. There is youtube video in Polish kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b5hmaZaCzcfPl40.html which shows how to dismantle the spout and sand down the inner pipe to make the spout close properly. I have tried it myself. It works for a while and the problem comes back again. I'm on my third dismantling job, to try and correct this fault.

I bought this exact fuel can about three years ago. At first it was great but then the fuel side outlet failed to work properly. It became very sticky, hard to slide open and close. It was extremely difficult to open to allow the fuel out then really hard to close it, which made a huge mess with fuel everywhere. Of course Husky dealer said it was my fault, even thought they couldn't say what I had done, or failed to do so as to end up in its unusable state. A good idea but poorly made. Don't waste your money, just junk.

I finally got the link from Dad for these jugs. I added it to the description in the video. Take care, Jason.

The gas spout will swell up over a few years and stop working.

Love my combi can. To anyone who owns this can you will likely be interested in this video (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fM1zett9mravhJ8.html) as it shows how to easily cure the sticky gas nozzle. I searched the interwebs for hours to try and find a solution. Wanted to just purchase another winter oil nozzle to use on the gas side but couldn't find a way to get one shipped to the US.
