Does the speedometer require adjusting after changing the sprocket gearing? I am curios if the 401’s speed is read from the transmission or the wheels.

Thank you. Question though, why the paper towel rolled through the chain and rear sprocket when the chain had just been put on?

Hey man i have a 401 as well, the chain has always been loud ever since i bought it brand new, only loud when i get to higher speeds and move my leg i can hear it towards the front sprocket. Was this normal for anyone who owns one? Thinking of replacing chain and sprockets to fix it. Please give any advice thx
