As a swede the history segment of the video was very interesting, I had never looked into the Lahti before so it was cool learning something "new" about my own country! Thank you!

Thank you for watching! Always interesting to look into these old guns, they reveal a lot of history (I, for instance, had no idea Sweden sent a volunteer force to fight in the Winter War before looking up info on this gun)

The tool can also be used to push down the magazine loading button to help load them

as a swede, we just call it pistol m/40, lahti is referred more to the Finnish models

I am also interested, doesn't it shoot 9mm and if so what grain. I am seriously considering buying one of these guns, that's why I am asking all of these questions. Your firearms interests run along the same lines as mine. I am mainly interested in WWI and WWII firearms.

@geadkins966 Yup, standard 9mm. I use 115 grain and I try to stick with lighter loads, these have brittle frames that are prone to cracking so you definitely don’t want to run hot ammo through them
