Like the title states, the equipment is worn out, falling apart and held together by a string. Check out the video if you want to see a juggling act to make it work.

Had a union electrician wire a new walk-in freezer install for me about 15 years ago. He wired L1-L2 directly to evaporator H1 and H2. Instead of calling like he was supposed to do, he powered the circuit and left. Pretty much melted everything…

@@johnbell6956 I was with the local pipe fitters union for 1 job. They got mad at me as I produced 3 weeks worth of work in 4 days. " You should never do that, these bids are for time." WTF?

@@johnbell6956 I got recruited into that union because they were too far behind! No wonder. I did my fittings in multiple batches all at once because I had been self employed and couldn't waste any time.

I do a lot of restaurant refrigeration and find those termination switches always pulled off on the defrost clock. Most likely, it went bad causing the coil to freeze up previously.

It was originally over a hour long, I did find a new feature that automatically cuts out the pause’s in my speaking. That helped a lot but it still took forever to edit. Some videos I’ve seen lately are crazy, I try to not record simple things like a bad capacitor or a fan motor. I feel it’s wasting the viewers time.

Man my boss sent me to change a heater assembly on a Munters today. Old one was completely burnt up from the burners to the controls. machine hasn’t run in any mode for almost a year, doors off the entire time, new module is for a unit that’s 20 years newer. Total nightmare to install in this old piece of shit…of course it doesn’t work correctly and now it’s all on my head somehow. I was setup to fail from the beginning, guy who quoted it gave the bosses the impression that we change this heater out and turn the key, when in fact this is step 1 of like 20. Now I see why commercial guys play hide and seek for a grand a week…should I have found a way to hack this thing together and make it work? Am I being to sensitive?

As long as you can make something run safely and if you explain to the customer what you want to do, then I wouldn’t see a problem doing what you had to in order for it to work
