I love that you see the similarities between Hwasa and Beyoncé because she happens to be one of her biggest inspirations. Even her performance outfits resemble ones that Beyoncé wears which is something that Hwasa gets a lot of criticism from Korean netizens for. She really breaks the mold of what a female idol is expected to look like. She has such intense look and great stage performance. Her vocal is also very bold and powerful. Yeah I think to answer your question there's enough variety in women so that there can be variety in men. Men don't all have to walk that fine line. They can be on the side they feel most comfortable in (the nurturing side or the more assertive side) and just meet the right woman - the one who is looking for that. Hwasa's MV just goes to show that what is most important is compatibility between people. Also, since this is based on her previous relationship (she was the boy, I think!) I'm always impressed by how she really broke down what went wrong, was able to take the other's perspective but still came out confident about herself (he was the twit - just like she is in the video). It's so easy to lose self-esteem after a break up and blame yourself. I do think TWIT is one of the best MVs done by Mamamoo, if not the best. Will be waiting for the next one!

The fine line you are talking about: I don't feel like people should act in a certain way just to get it right in any relationship. Ofc everyone trys their best; but in the end people all look for different things in relationships(both male/female etc.) and I don't think there is one way for a man to "behave" to make a woman happy at all. Theres all those guidelines out there which are seemingly a solution for how "to be good a good partner", but it may be just usable for one specific person for one specific other. It really depends on the indiviual. Some people like space, some are superclingy, some even end up with clingy people even if they look for no clingy. Hell even people don't know what they want and learn daily about their partners new sides or themselves. Its changing over time, too. But I agree with you saying "people still try to figure out", because it will always be like that. Ah I don't mean to preach or something, so don't get it the wrong way xDD (why did this comment get so long) This song is very relatable, because it speaks quite a lot about a relationship dynamic(expectations, communication, emotions) which is experienced in some way or the other by a lot of people and I believe Hwasa is building this song from her own experiences and learning process.
