Is any one else here after seeing the article in electrek? It's a site who's article was suggested to me. It said this will be available in US (that also spells "us" btw) come 2025. Stuff like this should have been available decades ago (and was to some extent). Not everyone is vain and materialistic when it comes to transport. I like the straight lines. It looks like you could DIY body work if you had too. I know it cuts down on initial production costs as well. It is perfectly utilitarian. That and something with low cost of ownership, ease of maintenance while being *better* for the environment is all some of us want in a vehicle. All industry has some environmental impact, sometimes that impact is during manufacturing while others it's over the life of the product - with ICE's it's both.

So cute. I like the social responsibility aspect (which would work great in Japan and probably be abused elsewhere). I’d love to see some modular options that allow it to be a little campervan if you want

Compressed air is already in every gas station. If ev's have compressed air tanks, they can trickle charge, and recover compressed air mechanically via regenerative breaking. Seeping the air in addition to the drag, should help spin mini wind turbines to recharge ev batteries when charging. In park a compressed air pump charged from wall outlet can then charge the car over hours.

I would buy the fuck out of this, but unfortunately it's likely going to be priced too highly for a regular person to afford. Interesting new cars are only for the rich.
