Watch out tho, different multimeters have different values. 1 of my multimeters had 1.160-1.180 for all readings on an Oled picofly. And my 2nd one had 390-410. The picofly worked perfectly so I don't know if it's a multimeter thing or a battery issue.

Updated firmware on the chip prior to installation. All pads read correct?... I have this long red green followed by two quick green blinks. Is the firmware messed up?

SoC is not just for nVidia. It's pretty common abbreviation for system on chip. Just APU is for AMD, but it's exactly the same.

Isnt an apu just a cpu+gpu? And a SoC considered a cpu, gpu, and/or ram, rom, and maybe a special function processor(s)?

@@elcoollow5955 It's a little more complex than that but generally speaking yes. An APU is essentially a CPU that has a very specific piece of hardware on it that allows it to also run a integrated GPU. An APU is essentially a more powerful iGPU (Intel coined the term iGPU for their CPU's) An iGPU also known as a integrated graphics processor has been on Intel for many many years now however they were mostly always fairly weak whilst AMD was able to create a way to house a more powerful graphics processor that works in-hand with the CPU. Then you have Nvidia's SOC which is essentially an APU in practice but works a little differently.

How did the cap got damaged? Simply because of the heat from the iron? Didn't see it touching the cap that long though.

hmmm... i put fw_2.73.uf2 & 2.75 too, green light blink once when finish copy. after that i try to boot again, still fail, just direct boot into OFW like original. the chip blink blue, and green x2, after few sec, green x2, after few sec, green x2 again. then no more. not sure what it means

Boss you meaning if give dat point 0.590 v is it fine and cmd 0.623 v and clk 0.767 v diode mode. Multimater read.

Hello, do i need a microscope to install a picofly on my switch, if yes what kind would you suggest, because I want to do this as well but I don't know what tools I need. Maybe you could make a video about it what equipment you suggest for starters.

My guess would be enameled wire. Which gage I’m not sure of.

Do your clients specifically ask you to setup CFW in sysMMC or do you just do it. I just think it's bad practice to potentially dirty the NAND of your client.

I don't setup cfw in sysmmc, i just test the first boot in cfw sysnand, after the video I create emunand and then backup of nand memory.

It is possible but if my customer wants to play online in original firmware , the console has to updated to the latest firmware.

that is enameled wire. so no bridges. your iron burns the enamel away for connections.

how much do you charge to install this? I have a launch Switch that no longer boots..I have left it plugged in for HOURS and it doesn't boot So I am sure I will have to buy another Switch (I do have AutoRCM and drained the battery a dozen times)

If your switch is no longer booting and won't charge, I assume you need a battery replacement which is very easy to do.

i tried but its not moving and after few minutes it said fail to copy. my chip is "RP2040-Lite" and the code on the rapsberry is "RP2-B2 22/04 PBC608.00. please help. when i turn it on it just blink blue, and 2 times green, and repeat green... the NS just boot into ofw like nth happen.@@tvpartsworld806

Why do you always update the switch before putting the chip in? Is it something that can't be done anymore once the chip is installed? Thank you :)

Its because you create an emunand after installation of the chip. If you do the update before, the emunand created is already on the latest version. If you do it afterwards, you have to update the emunand !and! the original nand

hello?!:) damn freak you are... i never would do this job by my own on a switch...solder a chipt on this small pieces....no idont have the patience to do this... if i buy an oled switch what does it cost if i send you my devices from germany...hhmmm and after that i can tweak up my tegra on full power...hhmm intersting ;)
