In this extract from the 7th of December 1993 a guys comes up and asks Papaji, "Am I alive? Do I exist?"
Papaji, "Being is eternal. And being is happiness, peace, unseen, untouched, but you forget it; everybody forgets it. If you don't forget, you don't have any trouble. 'I' is a thought, past. In the night no 'I' was there. When you were sleeping no 'I' was there. Whenever, wherever there is 'I,' there is problem and there is death. So, how to survive? Don't touch 'I.' Don't touch 'I,' then nobody can kill you."

The "I" and "me" does not exist...no one is here. Just Being/Existence/Self/Brahman/Consciousness...the thought of a "me" and "I" gets appended later where there really is no "me". It is not a matter of remembering this, but being.

The use of word I reiterates ego even if obliquely. Use of non personal Existence that encompasses all around including the perceiver, appears more effective option.

I never got answer while asking “ Who am I” but recently I burst into laughter when I asked “Who am I” and I got answer “ I” “Will not come outside ” 🤣🤣🤣

To this day, some people are still sitting at that satsang waiting to hear whether or not that man is suffering. Source: I called and asked about it. It’s currently holding the record for the longest satsang, 1993-present.
