In this video from 7th March 1994 Papaji replies the question, "Can I be enlightenment now? And how?
Papaji: Address to the now, "How can I be enlightened?" Not to the past, future, present even. Direct your face to Now and wait for the answer. Don't make any effort and don't think either. In between, ask the question.

We are fully in enlightenment right now. Enlightenment is the nature of all of us and we have to support each other and uplift each other in that reality in the fullness of our realization sharing with others what we learn continually. that is the one kin.

Age of Dreams I think it’s natural to have identity it’s like to have clothes, you just need to be aware that it’s not who you really are. It has its usefulness in society, it’s practical. But it shouldn’t be more than this, just a cloth) The problem starts when you’re thinking that this body and mind is who I’m and give it super importance

The answer has to come from who we really are . I mean we can't just be waiting for an answer. yet we are the answer . right here. right inside of us . right inside of the scene. let me just tell you this . get your life in order. to get yourself to be able to sit in nature and meditate. get your life in order . that's it . how much money does that take to get your life in order - to be able to sit and meditate? what does your work look like ? what are your relationships? the enlightenment is the source.

Enlightenment is just the ending of all desires. All spiritual paths are lofty lies we are told to get us to let go of worldly desires, then we waste our life pursuing spiritual experiences until finally we let go completely and realize the blissful freedom of Desirelessness . There is nothing at the end of the rainbow except the realization that nothing was ever missing in the first place.

Great Papaji. Sometime people ask me , how to reach and get enlightenment. Before replying that , I am asking , if you see a person lost in a city .You will approach that person and ask him what is your name and what you are looking for and you looked lost. Then the person will tell you that he lost his way to home. Then you will ask him, please tell me what is your address or where do you live ? if you know the address then you will help him to find the place or you will ask someone for help. So now you are searching for enlightenment and in the same way I am asking from you what is the address ? where do you live ?

Where does this "I" come from that is suffering? "I" is a thought. From where does it arise?

You suffer because you identify yourself with an emotion and become that emotion. When you suffer you can say that I am that emotion. But when you watch the suffering and the I that suffer correctly then you separate yourself from the feeling. Because it is impossible to watch something if you are one with it. If you are tree, you cannot see or watch that tree. So when you watch the feeling, you stop identification. Stopping identification means there will be no suffering and no me which suffers. But, you must be able to watch correctly. Jiddu Krishnamurti explains correct watching very well.

There’s no such thing as “enlightenment here and now”. Nobody that visited him ever became instantly enlightened. What people don’t understand is that Papaji’s own alleged ‘enlightenment’was only self-declared, and self-diagnosed. Ramana did NOT declare him realized. People just took Papaji’s word that he was realized, and spread this “story” as if it was fact.

You must have not seen a lot of satsangs that Papaji gave that were recorded and archived on this very channel. I suggest you go search "Papaji - No fear" and watch the video posted by this channel. I would also suggest you to go in the comments, for you will find the very person that experienced that satsang give more information in the replies. But don't just nod with your head and ignore this suggestion, thinking that you already have the answer and can therefore ignore the video completely. Go and actually do it, as if you were to know nothing about the matter. But only if you feel you want to accept my suggestion. Also, watch out, for the mind will probably give you 101 reasons for why what you've witnessed may be bogus or some spiritual trickery or what not. And don't go on comparing Papaji and Ramana again, for it will only fuel even more your mind and his many statements.

And there’s no such thing as enlightenment. If you think that there’s no enlightenment like here and now, go read zen koan. Enlightenment is just a dissolution of the thinking mind. There’s no permanent enlightenment. Permanent enlightenment or freedom from mind is after death.

Come on... The guy did not realize himself, and I bet most of these so called "instant enlightenment" are not real permanent realizations!! Sure Papaji is a great true master but most of his disciples just did not "get" it. Lets be honest about it.

I don't think there is anything permanent about enlightenment. I think its more of a present and occurring experience. People generally prefer all the alternatives to enlightenment anyhow

@@loscoyotes1808 The thing with Papaji is not "enlightenment", I would call it spontaneous enlightenment or revelation, but if someone would've really enlightened at that moment (completely enlightened) they wouldn't be here on earth anymore.

that was a real problem with His flock actually Wave...and it's hard to fault the Master for it. How to solve it? You completely change how He taught then....no more Papaji we love. It's a tricky problem.
