This was such a killer video. Love the idea of using the snapshots as gain stages and the other blocks for effects. Definitely going to do this with the PodGo as I often feel like I am a bit hindered by having only four snapshots available when I just want one other effect on. Killer playing and tones as well. Your pod go presets are in my Sunday morning rotation every week - thanks!

I bought the HX Stomp knowing that all in was an inevitability. Now, you’ve made that happen much sooner than anticipated. I was basically using it to replace my M5 for phasers, chorus, and octoverb that I didn’t have room for on my board. I think I’ll be doing less tap dancing now.

Bought this and found it really helpful & versatile. The presets and instructions are very systematic and easy for a new HX stomp user (like myself) to understand-setup-use. I'm using the singlecoil presets and it sounds good on my strat & tele out of the 'box' in stereo mode. Just ordered a dual footswitch to unlock the full potential. Gonna spend hours on HX edit looking through your preset settings to glean from your effect & preset building principles to build mine too. Thanks for being such an inspiration & blessing to the community!

Great work David. You’ve really taken time to meticulously dial in the tones. I have been a Fractal guy for 5+ years and usually dial in my own presets. But, I am buying this preset pack as all the presets sound really good. Great job 👏🏻

I used this patch this weekend. I have the Jet MIDI and loved using it for scrolling thru the snapshots with a long pause. My HX stomp always seemed harsh in the PA but the IR’s and dialed settings help immensely. Thanks!

Sounds cool! Thanks for all the hard work man! Might have to grab these and tweak them for some of my own changes. IDK if it saves any DSP but I like having my outboard drives in the fx loop so I can have HX sounds before and after my drives. If I can keep that on a footswitch it also gets them out of the signal path for cleans. Another thing I do if If I don’t use the expression for the 2 button switcher would be to run the exp out of a Dunlop XL into the exp and set the time-based decays to increase as the heel comes down to help the swells not fight too much.

Super awesome! Great presets! I'm curious though - why did you decide to use FS3 as tap/tuner and FS4 as a stomp switch? It seems much more logical if they were swapped because having the stomp switch on that external switch means you have to memorize what FS4 toggles for every single preset. Seems better the other way around so that you could see on the screen what your third effect toggle is, then you just have to remember that FS4 is tap/tuner. Not criticizing, it's all personal preference, just curious. Anyway, love the tones you are getting out of this thing!

Excellent set of patches. Using with a Morningstar MC6 to control and Mission Eng footswitch for presets. Couldn't be happier. These are incredibly musical sounding and and I learned some new tricks to use on my own presets. Grateful for the time you spent preparing these and the video on how to use them.

Good tutorial. If anyone finds their tone to be too bright or fizzy, an easy way to solve that is to select a different Mic in the Cab Block.

@@minguelmargarita8208 Go to the Cab Block. There is Slider used for selecting the Mic model. It's like using a Slider to adjust the Volume. Very clever to use the Slider.

FM3 over this all day long. I got a FM9 because I wanted more power and I hate tap dancing which is unavoidable on a 3 button modeler. I can also run dual amps and high res. reverbs, etc. Fractal easily has the best in the business. $1699+ shipping and tax however if you consider what it can replace, it's actually an outstanding value. I also won't be looking to upgrade a year from now. Key word is not price- it is value. It also sounds better than the Stomp. I have been the most impressed with the feel of this thing- touch soft, you can barely hear it. Dig in and wow- it's right there with you. That takes a lot of DSP power. The FM9 has it. The FM3 too but to a lesser extend. HX Stomp- meh. It's good but not great IMHO. The Helix Floor most closely competes with the FM9.

This is amazing! I’m getting myself this bundle. I had a question though, in the case of me going into real amps and already having a pedalboard but wanting to use these presets as an effects pedal similar to what the Strymon Mobius does, how do you go about the Amps and IRs that are already in the presets? Do I just turn them off or just take them out? Thanks a lot!

If you are running into real amps, definitely turn off the amp and IR and tweak from there.

Have you tried the Blackstar Live Logic midi control pedal. Straight out of the box via midi it gives you Up and Down banks and 4 channel selectors. It also has 2 expression inputs and custom settings via USB also.

It's not needed to buy any patches for this unit, it's so easy to program, sounds great and although I have the Helix rack, ground control and Variax, I like the simplicity of my HX stomp, midimouse and Expression pedal.

I put a mg30 threw a line aray pa straight into the mixer and sounds terrible. But great threw a valve amp. But trying to get a small package. What if i buy the stomp and put threw a mixer and sounds no good as well.any one with ideas

Very cool. Did you struggle to get everything to fit in the DSP? I know you have patches on all the modelers high and low end, it would be interesting to hear how you go about deciding what to cut/degrade to work with modelers that have less processing power.
