Is it possible to put volume pedal in Stomp's effects loop and set it between distortion and reverb/delay to making ambient swells? Like that: distortion > volume pedal (in effects loop) > delay/reverb.
@alanporchetti7494 жыл бұрын
I wonder how many presets can you make? Is there a limit for empty banks?

@alienlovesecrets93795 жыл бұрын
I bought it for its FX in the loop of my Kemper. Perfect match.
@kenmasters0075 жыл бұрын
you are better off with line 6 HX effects if only using for FX because the FX has more FX blocks and more buttons for greater flexibility....

Hey great demo, but to edit stuff on the Stomp is WAY more easier to use the HX Editor on the PC. Incredibly easier. I would go this route if I am making changes..

Congratulations on the video! One question, please: Can I get the same quality of recording without using an audio interface? That is, using only the direct interface of hx stomp? Does the hx stomp interface have the same capability and quality as a professional interface?

Here's my feedback - i've got a line 6 helix LT its completely unusable in the preset mode because of the giant audible lag/drop when you hit the next preset. I had to run it in full snapshot mode so each bank becomes 1 preset and within the preset you have 8 snapshots with 0 latency. I would never go for anything less than the LT version if i wanted to use it for amp modelling+fxs. The other guy in my band has just bought a kemper and I will probably go the same route because the sounds are just superb compared to helix amp modeling (im already using 3rd party IRs by OH, I use significant EQing etc and i've pretty much hit its limits). The routing in helix however is far better than what the kemper offers.
@kenmasters0075 жыл бұрын
the stomp has 4 snapshots per preset... if you need more than that, then yes stick with the LT... The kemper has the same problem and no snapshots.. :)
@karolkozak645 жыл бұрын
@@kenmasters007 no it does not have the same problem i had kemper at home for a week and there was 0 delay switching presets.
@iwishicouldplaygtr5 жыл бұрын
@@karolkozak64 I've had all Fractal and Line 6 products. All of them are great but Kemper is in another league on its own.

Would it be possible to set this up for 3 channels? Like clean, rhythm, and lead? Or would I just have to throw an effect on the rhythm sound with the other button?
@Kctributebands5 жыл бұрын
You can use three snapshots on one patch for clean, rhythm, and lead. Set the amp gain and output volume accordingly for each snapshot.
@Dustinchugs5 жыл бұрын
@@Kctributebands And I could cycle between those 3 with 2 buttons correct? Looking into using this live with a powerstage
@Kctributebands5 жыл бұрын
@@DustinchugsI use a separate button for each of the three snapshots. I haven't used the other switching modes yet. Before you buy one of these, you might want to check out the Fractal Audio FM3 that will be available soon. It's costs a little more, but the sounds will be much better.

Have a quick look at Presonus Notation. I'm not sure whether it writes as you play or not because I haven't bought it yet, but it's worth a look. All the info will be on the Presonus.com website, go and check it out mate. I'm a Studio One user and I'll probably be buying it myself when they send me their black Friday offers because I think it's a decent looking program. 👍
