Great Video, do some of them have plastic between blocks instead of caulking? also how can I tell if one is wavy or tinted without another to compare it to? I have 2 top right corners to replace do you have any tips? Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks

Probably best to contact Hy-Lite (www.hy-lite.com). I haven't worked there since 2005, but at that time, the untinted blocks were perfectly clear.

Will the process be the same for the bottom row?

Will this kit work if my window has white plastic grid between the blocks?

I don’t know. Probably not. If it has a plastic grid, it’s probably a different block. Best hot you to contact Hy-Lite. I haven’t work for them in 15 years.

I'd suggest contacting Hy-Lite (www.hy-lite.com). I haven't worked there since 2005, so I don't know how they distribute the repair kits.

What is he procedure if only the caulking is bad, and coming away from the block joint. No broken blocks or other problems...do you just remove the peeling caulk and caulk with the 30 year caulk?

Harold Sharp Best to contact Hy-Lite directly. I haven't worked for them since 2005. At that point, we never had an instance in which the caulk started coming off. It may be that since then they have changed the caulk they use. The company has twice changed ownership since I was there.

Harold Sharp I have a similar situation as you. No broken or damage blocks but the Entire Caulk grid is loose and could come off in one large piece...like a full template of caulk for the 6x6 blocks. I don't know whether to remove and caulk or try to caulk underneath the caulk and try to restick the old caulk on it. How did yours end up? Thank you.
