It makes me so happy that your students will be able to go back soon because as an incoming senior in college I have been struggling. Not only have I taught myself two classes before I dropped them but it also affected me a lot. Plus I lost my whole junior year of college to this corona bs and it makes me pissed.

I’m so happy your kids don’t have to sit behind the shields. I’m a high school senior in western Pennsylvania. We’ve been doing hybrid all year long, and it is amazing. We’re masked and six feet apart at all times, but the fulfillment it gives me is inexplicable. I’m definitely an introvert, and I did not struggle at all when we were on total stay at home. However, when I was back in the classroom, I realized I was missing something. I’ve always loved school, but now it’s my only social time. Exchanging ideas with peers and teachers is *so* important for kids of all ages. I hope you’re loving it 💜

Let me put it this way . Although I am glad that My School Years are almost 2 Decades behind me because of the COVID Pandemic ( in a way ) and the need for SROs and enhanced Life protecting security in schools , I still believe that I am and have been missing out on a LOT of Resourceful Teachers specifically in elementary school today because I graduated from high school it seems like way too soon . - Dwight

At my school they took away the shields cause just two days the cdc said they really didn't work

my schools in michigan are all in person and no shields and we have desks touching in groups still masks and all that and we are going to different rooms for different classes like gym art music ect

Hope hybrid is going well.

I go to school a full five days and we have to wear masks and be six feet apart. The teachers are supposed to give us mask breaks but they don't. It is so hard not to have any mask breaks
