I present to you the repair of a hydraulic jack - change all seals and oil. The seal was cracked and leaking oil

For years I had a really old man come by every 3 months and fix our jacks , he retired but sold me kits and parts for all kinds of jacks 😊

You own a real nice, 2 stage good quality jack. You wereeven able to buy the repair kit from factory. That is the way to make a good repair. Thanks for sharing the video, it is super interesting . I did enjoy it to the max. Cheers Men

I buy used jacks all the time and 95% just need fluid and air pumped out of them 😊😊

Is it a 20T? One of my 20 T need repair (slow or not going up and holding). Thanks for showing. How do I check out what brand of jack, so to order new seals?

It is 20T. I did not order the seals but had them made. I had the seals made after I disassembled the jack.

@@kcimb Thank you for watching, the seals were made by tesnila Bogadi Slovenija-Maribor. No it wasnt hard.

Nice Job. Biggest issue is always finding the manufacturer and seals. Please list what manufacturer of the jack and where you found seals.

Thank you for watching.Unfortunately, I do not know the manufacturer of the hydraulic jack, because it is very old, about 30 years . I had the seals made at the seal manufacturer. I got all the new seals there

Saludos tengo un gato parecido a ese. pero no se cuantas toneladas puede levantar, cuantos detalles lleva y cuantos repuestos. pero el mío no levanta el segundo pistón (el segundo cilindro mas pequeño, delgado.).

Hello. I don't know exactly how much he can lift either. But my father used it to lift a truck. If it does not raise the second cylinder, you will need to tear it apart again and see if there is a damaged seal somewhere or maybe even a missing seal

That platic was not broken that was the ring for the piston that gives it it lifting strength.

@@darijan-diy l filled the oil now it is working.I will try pressure leakage test.then I will decide Continue or rebuild

Im not college educated but i would have dumped the oil in before instilling the piston then removed the plug piston would puss oil into the tank and no bleeding to be done

I'm curious what brand is it ? Its not MEGA spain jacks ,,, My advice to you is next time use a hot pressure washer (with small nozzle) on the tank inlet side to clean it ,because hot water cleans better then air pressure it

I don't know exactly what brand the hydraulic jack is because it's old and can't be seen. I think it's Italian

Judging from the characteristics, I think it's made in Japan by the MASADA brand greetings from Indonesia 🙏
