Exactly my thought, "good luck" after that since the warranty is no longer valid. On the other hand if you are comfortable opening up the controller you might just replace the analog sticks yourself since the same company who makes them openly said those parts are "consumables" and companies should make them easily accessible instead of spending thousands of hours designing their controllers. Lol

Its already chipping after he reassembles. Maybe put some primer on first then coat the pattern with something on top to be extra safe?
