It’s not difficult, just tedious. I’ve done it twice now for being clumsy and managing to spill soda in my controllers... and yes they function just fine after a complete tear down, cleaning and reassembling...

Best results use marbling ink, no bumps at all. Then coat in a 2k clear coat for durability. Check out some of the ones I've done, search GYGO on Facebook! 😁

On one hand, they didn't know that they had to open it, take everything out, and set it aside because they didn't watch the video, but on the other hand, they completely ignored the first rule of electronic safety; to never put things like that in water. Lmao. Edit:in a twist of irony, i hadn't watched the video through at thw time of my comment, and saw that he does indeed show that he takes both the ps4 and controller apart for safety reasons.
