Some extra hygiene tips 1. Use your body scrub (granules) to lightly scrub your inner ear when you're in the shower. When you're out of the shower, use non alcoholic witch hazel to sweep it up one more time. Then moisturise your ears. If you ever visit a spa for a facial, tell your aesthetician to extract any black heads or sebaceous fillaments in your ears. 2. When using mouthwash, take time and gargle deep in your throat to get rid of any odours down there. 3. Maybe once in a while, get a full body wax. Top to bottom. The new body hairs that will grow will be fresh helping with softness and removing body hairs with any product build up.

Hi these are some great tips except for the full body waxing. Waxing rips off a layer of skin every time you do it. If you do this regularly (once in 15 days), it can strip away so much so that your skin becomes burnt and raw over time. + its more detrimental than beneficial for your body hair because it causes ingrown hairs, breakouts, and infected hair follicles.

sharing my personal adhd (or general "lack of motivation") specific hygiene tips for my fellow mental illness havers: -if you can do your skincare in the shower then do it! I keep both my cleansers in my shower so they're right there and I don't have to worry about being careful to not get water running down my arms or in my hair etc. -in general just try to add things to your current routines, I do my skincare and a lot of hygiene stuff right after showering because I shower daily. maybe try adding a couple things when you brush your teeth in the morning and/or at night, or when you take your meds, etc. piggybacking off of an already existing routine in your life is a great way to start new stuff. expand your routines instead of creating a whole new one from scratch, that's a whole lot easier. -have a bunch of towels as backup so you don't have to do laundry right away but can still change them out somewhat regularly -START SMALL!!! building habits when you have adhd is very very difficult and it's not going to work if you just buy a ton of skincare/hygiene products all at once and expect to make a routine out of it immediately. I know you're tempted but don't let your hyperfixation let you make a bad finacnial decision. what I like to do bc I'm very conscious of how I spend money and add things to my routine, I just sit on things for a while. I'll do a bunch of research all at once and find products to add to my amazon wishlist but I only buy the essentials and that usually takes a few days of having things sit in my cart and me contemplating what exactly to buy. then I have more products on my wishlist to buy in the future and wait to buy them when I'm certain I'm comfortable with my current routine with the products I have already. my skincare routine is still very simple but it has changed quite a bit since I started skincare bc I've learned a lot more in that amount of time not just about skincare in general but about my skin and my body and what I like, like for example ik what type of moisturizer I like the texture of. I started with a more liquid moisturizer and didn't care for it but now my go-to is the thick creamy moisturizer because I love how it feels on my skin and it actually makes me want to use it, which is important with skincare!! -you're supposed to enjoy it!! hygiene and all this stuff is great but imo the main point is that it's supposed to be pleasant and make you feel good. taking care of my hygiene boosts my confidence even if it doesn't make that much of a difference to anyone else, it makes me feel better about myself. no one can smell me unless they're rlly close and the only person who gets that close (my partner) doesn't particularly care whether I smell like roses or smell like a human or smell a little sweaty. but I have to live with myself and I don't like smelling bad lmao so I'm doing this for ME. not really an adhd specific tip but I think it needs to be said!! -on that note, if having cute things helps you use things then buy cute things! who cares lol. I'm always so excited to use my facetory sleeping mask because the packaging is SO FREAKING CUTE and it smells nice (smell is not strong, I'm sensitive to strong scents!) and just feels good on my face. it's a bit pricey but to me it's worth it to pay a little extra for cute packaging sometimes bc it motivates me to use those things. even if you really want a particular product because it has amazing reviews and sounds like it'll work great for you, you can just... put it in a different container. u can do that btw no one will stop you. put your skincare in cute matchy containers if you want but also LABEL THEM and don't throw away the original containers, or keep the link to the product if you bought it online! there are so many times I forgot what thing does what at the start bc I switched them to cuter containers lmaooo.

Benzoyl peroxide wash under the armpits works the same as the glycolic toner!! Also i would be careful with the hydrogen peroxide/mouthwash hack on your teeth, it can damage your gums and wear down on your teeth. Gums can recede if you’re not careful, flossing IS so important!

Hi, great video. I also prefer baths. Some notes to what you have said: vinegar is acidic so is your pH, be careful not to imbalance it by adding vinegar too much or too often. Also I get what you mean by “baths detoxify” however, all you need to detoxify is your liver and kidneys. Bath softens dead skin and soaks off dirt but is not getting rid of inner impurities. I mention it partially for the shower girlies so they don’t feel like they need to detoxify harder or something 🥰

for those who have depression and can't manage to shower every day for whatever reason (no judgement), wash in the sink instead with an exfoliating glove. Put a towel or two on the floor, get a sink head extender so you can direct the water stream but don't put off washing up even if you can't do a full shower

It takes the toxins from your mouth. Its antibacterial and antifungal which helps prevent oral thrush as well. Me personally i buy cloves and make a diy clove oil with coconut oil and extra virgin oil. Then oil pull with that. Cloves helps with gum health and prevents and/or cure gum disease. Cloves also helps with bad breath.
