I am a 19 year old girl from New Jersey. I grew up in the church as my dad was a pastor. This past year I have never strayed farther from God. Was on a bunch of drugs, doing my own thing, while in the car with a friend of mine who is an atheist and this song started playing on his phone. He’s didn’t even know what the song was but I immediately started crying. I’m positive this was a sign from God that it’s time to come back. Thank you Jesus for new beginnings. ❤

Im glad that you ran back to him.. welcome back.. but understand that it takes time to become who you want to become... look at it this way.. a apple tree rush for no one.. meaning it bears fruit at the right time.. also start putting into practice "faith endurance" meaning learn how to have faith for one minute first the two then three ect.by doing that you will learn how to trust GOD. How i see it is faith is nothing but trust.. trusting that GOD will deliver on his promise Then you have build a relationship with GOD That is Faith based... love you keep praying and have patience with yourself

Those hymns hit different when you've been through some things in life. 🙌🏾🙌🏾 8 years leukemia free, acute lung disease from leukemia, skin spotted from head to toe from bone marrow transplant complications, hip replacement so much more you wouldn't believe. Even coded in hospital. But if you're reading this I'm a living witness God is real! He's great and worthy to be praised. I promised Him I'd tell the world of His goodness! It is well!

I’m 40 weeks and 4 days pregnant. My baby gets active and worships with me every single time I play this. I’m going to play this on repeat in my delivery room, as I could not think of a better time to worship and praise God. ❤️ ***UPDATE: Wow, thank you for all the love and prayers! My son was born March 31st, 2021 to the sound of Maverick City Music and his mommy in deep prayer. My delivery couldn’t have been more perfect. By the time I went to the hospital, they were ready to check me in. I did ask for an epidural due to a previous back injury and within less than an hour of administering it - the delivery team was shocked - I went from 4 centimeters to READY TO PUSH! I pushed through what felt like just a few contractions and there he was. No stitches!! My son is a spicy little guy! I pray over his life and have watched him become this super funny soul with this huge personality and loving demeanor. He already says his prayers in his baby language with “AMEN” being the only clear word. Glory to God! Thank you all and Godbless!

Please do this, as a student midwife, i have had one Christian couple in the delivery room and they played worship songs and what a witness it was to the midwife and such a calming environment it was. It was lovely and the Lord's presence was there. xx

My 28 year old son suffered a stroke 2 weeks ago. I thank God we got him to the hospital in time, the effects of the stroke was reversed and my son is now home recovering. The blood clot was on the left side of his brain and his right side would have been paralyzed but God is so faithful. He’s able to walk, talk, eat and has function of all his limbs. Thank you Lord for being the healer that you are, I Love you forever ❤

Amen do true. I find myself singing them with 87 old mom. She may have forgotten what she has eaten 30 mins ago but God BUT GOD she can remember these hums from in the 1920's . My daughter went in to brain surgery yesterday and all felt close to lost. But God guided the surgeon’s hands so that I could kiss my sweet Stella again. We prayed and prayed and cried and cried. I woke up this morning feeling the hurts of yester years, but decided to just worship God instead and came into youtube and this was the first song that caught my eyes and i just played it, only to receive the prophetic word enabling me to break free from the hurt and anger. @@authenticallynicky I apologize, I believe I misformulated my thought. You didn't label anyone according to their sin. I will try to explain myself better this time around 😌 As a person of color coming from a war torn African country, I used to be very much into standing up for what you call "the struggles of people of color". But the gospel takes a different approach. It says that the perfect love of Christ absorbs anything and everything done by us and to us. There is not so much calling out to do anymore, we suffer and we pray for our enemy. I suggested you pray on it because I didn't want you to think I want to convince you or debate you. I thought it was worth letting you know that if as a person of color, you struggle with hurt from society or else, there is a solution in what Jesus did on the cross, in the very love of God, way before there is any solution to be found in our oppressor suddenly realizing that what they did was wrong. The gospel informs us that our own repentance frees us from the weight of our own sin, and from the ways others have sinned against us. The love of God which follows cures all things, way more than any change from the oppressor ever could / would. That's my prayer suggestion to you if you'll consider it. I know I would have liked to know that there was more out there. That rather than making certain situations stop, God can do more than that: he can give us the peace to live through them and the strength to love those who hate us. I hope I could explain myself better lool 😅🙃

We played this while I was in labor and as I gave birth to my son. The Holy Spirit filled that hospital room with a thick presence. He was born into peace. Even the staff said it was the most peaceful birth they have ever been a part of. Thank you Jesus❤

I wanted to hear hymns today and here I stumbled on to one of my favorite authentic worship leaders. I gave God another yes, you prayed all the things I couldn't prayer fr myself. 😭😭😭 I thank God for giving you such a gift that ushers us into God's presence. Yes God settle my soul because it will be well....I will rest my soul shall rest 😭😭😭😭 Glory Hallelujah

I lost my mother in January...The first verse that came to my mind was it is well with my soul. Knowing that I didn't understand what it meant but finally today it made sense why .#GiveMeGracetoTrustYouMore🙏

Next week will be a year since my mother’s homegoing. As I learn to grieve, and honor her memory, I am increasingly drawn to the tested and tried Hymns of the Faith. I have countless memories of seeing my mother singing these hymns. It’s like the mortar that held the bricks of her faith together. Mom would have loved Chandler. I wonder what hymn Mom is singing now?

I relate to this so much! Thank you! My mother died when I was 14 and as a teen I always thought the hymns she and my father sang were the lamest thing! Now, as a I'm 31, I see and feel the power they hold and understand the strength they gave through her long battle with cancer. Some of my fondest memories of my mother are of her singing in the pulpit, even with no hair or with a scarf, she would always belt these songs. My mom would love Chandler too!

UPDATE - YAH GAVE US A VICTORY!! Prayers needed: Whoever is reading this, if you could please pray🙏🏼for the Lord's Hand to be upon my situation. My ex has basically kidnapped my daughter, and we have to follow the law and wait on the courts to get her back. We have to do things the right way, and that means waiting on the Lord and trusting Him to get us through this. Please pray, if you could, for God's Hand over us all - including the lawyers, court, and even my ex - that He will direct our paths and that His plan will work out for our good. Please pray for my daughter, that she will stay strong and that the Lord will open her eyes to the truth of the situation. Please pray for her, that she will know she is loved, and a child of the Most High, and that He loves her more than I ever could. My heart is breaking over this, and I have to submit myself and my cares to my God every day, all day, in order to get through this. The Lord is good and He is faithful. I know this. Thank you, brothers and sisters, for your prayers 🙏🏼💕 Edited to update: Just wanted to update those who prayed for us. We finally got temporary custody when we found out my daughter was being abused by her pedo father. After a year and a half, we won!!!! I have full custody and we have a PFA in place. Yah used this situation for His good. He also taught us lessons along the way, like it's not on our time but His!! And He rewarded us when we stopped trying to control the situation and left it in His hands. Thank you for your prayers!! I am grateful every day and the Lord is faithful!! Praise Yah!!! 🙏🤍

In the name of Jesus, I speak PEACE into this situation. Lord God, come and bring glory to Your Name! Where the enemy has brought destruction and harm, we cancel his work null and void in Jesus name. We speak LIFE into this family in Jesus name!!!God breathe upon this family and all the circumstances they find themselves in. I trust you Lord. Trust Him. He will do all that He said He will do. Don't let the enemy steal your joy and peace. Our Almighty Father WILL do it. Look back on the years of your life. Whatever you're facing He's always brought you through it. He wants the best for His children. I was shot in my spine July 5 2020, in a wheelchair for the past year and got some disappointing news today .....But in the Mighty name of Jesus it is well. I believe... believe and ye shall receive.

Faith is trusting in God's faithfulness. My prayer is that God helps all those who are struggling with surrendering to Him, who are struggling with trusting that He is a faithful Father, who are struggling to let go because they have doubt; I pray that the Almighty Faithful God will show you clearly His faithfulness in your life and that He will replace your doubts will immense Faith.
