@@bubblyleafcreations TBH you definitely have the skill in clay work, and your ability to blend colors/patterns always ties everything together. I can really see you coming up with creative solutions to make fun and realistic animals! Kind of off topic, but you seem like the kind of person who would also make style inspired dolls. Like making a koi or something of the likes inspired by Van Gogh, or an animal with a Tim Burton twist. Your possibilities are endless with the talent you already show 😍😍 Keep up the beautiful work and I can't wait to see your next tutorial. Love your realism ideas!

lol! :D Thats a great idea. I'll have to give it a try. Thats really cool. years ago I use to be a volenteer in my zoo's reptile house. I just never thought about making them as dolls till now and I'm nerding out a little and wanting to make everything.lol XD

My grandfather is a famous artist and when I was 3 years old, he brought me into his studio gave me pastels and said here's the wall.. draw something. Since then I've done just about everything I could get my hands on... sculpting dolls I've done since 1998. Drawing, painting etc since I'm a kid, I love airbrushing I got two degrees in that and one in advertising art and design then I got my bachelor's in commercial graphics and communications... got my nail tech license and was the first nail tech to airbrush on nails in the 80s. I've taught classes on nail art, how to make dolls.. calligraphy... and I also like to collect weird things. I have stamp collections, I have a tarot deck collection that will take care of my husband when I die if he sells them all.. over 115+ decks... I collect dead unmounted bugs lol I need wings for my fairies ... I collect cart supplies lol yeah I need a way bigger house. But you get the idea. I'd love to chat with you more. I’ve never heard of uromastyxes. I literally only just found about them because in the ‘up next’ bar it had a picture of one on the thumbnail of a vid XD but that would be really cute for an art doll, good idea!

@@dearlittleignatius1722 they are actually even nicer personality wise than beardies. Very layer back and they run up to us when they see us come to they're enclosure. They don't really eat bugs they eat green mixes and bird seed and bee pollen. No water as they get all their water from the greens they eat. I'd love for her to do a veiled chameleon too.

You could try to simplify the pattern, a lot of time they don't have to be as complex as you would think. maybe even cut everything out in paper and tape it together to see how it's looking before using your fabric, you can even stuff it.lol

So far I haven't had any problem with it chipping. I use acrylic paints and they behave kind of like vinyl or rubber. lol

My bad, I most have gotten a couple bad reference pictures when designing it. They where probable juvenile rhinos and now green. Don't you hate when something is labeled wrong lol :\

And yes it drives me nuts when especially new breeders put the wrong pics... but you nailed it. Have you seen the Fiji island iguana? They're purple with black and white striping. That would be an amazing art doll. I've always wanted one.
