i just got two of those with 4.0 ah battery and 1/4 impact driver

Awesome video, it's great to see these Hyper Tough 12v 3/8" impact wrenches disassembled on camera! I enjoyed the attention to little details and your personal anecdotes. Right now Lowe's is selling a new compact 1500 in-lb Skil 12v 1/4" impact driver with 2ah battery and a fast charger for $59 (ID6744A-10)! It gave similar 12v Dewalt, Makita, Bosch and Milwaukee a run for their money in certain tests. I've seen it tested against the Hyper Tough 12v 1/4" impact driver and I hate to break it to you but the Skil impact driver beats it by a good margin. There's also a similar Skil 12v 3/8" impact wrench kit (unfortunately available only on Amazon as of writing for $99). It'd be cool if you tested and compared it to the Hyper Tough 12v 3/8" impact wrench! Disassembly and all. If it goes on sale for $59 like the impact driver, I may purchase one or have to seriously consider the Hyper Tough. I kinda want one myself. Also worth noting is if the anvil and hammer assembly are original or cloned from Milwaukee or something else.

The crazy part is I wonder if you could modify a hyper tough tool to fit a Bosch 12 v battery because they're aftermarket batteries are easy to find and somethings the price is really good and some of the tools look vaguely familiar the reciprocating saw looks like my Bosch and I couldn't pass up up $70 3 tool kit on clearance last January tractor supply that's give me more I have a Dremel probably just needs a little trimming it could it could does batteries look similar to mine I've been seeing these tools and thinking about certain ones for basic applications if something I'm not going to use much but need

Exactly what I was looking for. Could you possibly get the part number on the driver board? And is there hall or is it halless. I’m guessing the latter to keep price down

At this price point , its not bad but its numbers are pretty pathetic on a dyno. However, since this 3-4 times cheaper than a Milwaukee, its power being 2-3 times less is acceptable.
