The Naturium Tranexemic acid serum combines Tranexemic acid, Niacinamide, kojic acid and Licorice root extract for $20. It's a good one if you live in the US. Naturium also has few different serums combining 3-4 actives in each product, for $20 or less. CeraVe face wash and CeraVe moisturizer will last for a very long time and are affordable. So are Cetaphil and Vanicream.

Absolutely, please do a hypo pigmentation on old mosquito bite scars/sweat acne scars on the back. I'm black but fair skinned and had them for 3 years. As a professionally trained somatologist, a person of color, with melasma, PIH and excema, you are spot on. Because my skin barrier is always one active away from being disrupted for weeks, I always find it so difficult to treat my skin concerns (occasional breakouts leaving PIH marks when trying to treat my barrier after trying actives that will help with my HPigmentation concerns) Its insane that after all these years in the beauty industry, numerous different product houses, I still have not found a single product house to look after all my concerns while keepng my skin barrier healthy

Good morning, i really like your videos. I’m 67 and until a year ago I had a really wonderful skin. I had shingles a year ago and that activated melasma on my face and neck. I have has 2 sessions of micro needling and some of the melasma is getting a little better however have irritation on my forehead. Any advice ?

At this point, I cannot imagine using any other products other than those formulated by you. I also wanted to thank you for inventing the pigmentation kits as it worked wonders for my face in just 3 months and now I’m moving on to my second kit. Hi. I haven’t looked at Dr V’s products in detail yet. Can you please tell me what the pigmentation kit involves in terms of hyperpigmentation on the face and how long it took you to notice results? You also mentioned you’re on your second kit. How long would you say the first kit lasted and would you need to continue to use the product assuming one does not develop further hyperpigmentation? @@mpras684 Hey, I’m happy to share my experience. I have been using the Facial Pigmentation Kit for about 3 months now and it is very potent with high strength actives. I’m aged about 21 years so I could start seeing a difference in about 1 month. When I used the kit on my face (except the eye area) and neck regularly as instructed, one kit lasted for roughly about 3 months. Fortunately, I did not experience any intense sensitivity issues while using the kit. I have dry skin so I ensured to have a hydrating routine. I would also suggest you to avoid the heavily sunny days while using the kit as it aggravated the tanning effects on my skin. And never skip your sunscreen even during winters. Speaking of the results, even though not drastic, it is certainly noticable after using the first kit. I have very stubborn pigmentation around my neck and mouth from my childhood so I guess it is a long journey for me. I would say the first kit completed 1/4th of the job (but I had my share of mistakes with it, which might have delayed the processes). Now that I know what to avoid and how to use it carefully in the right way maybe the next kit might show better results faster. Apart from working on my pigmentation, the kit also improved the overall look of my skin by increasing its radiance and giving a smooth texture with a youthful, healthy and an even skin. Hence, I think this kit is worth all the appreciation as I have tried so many hacks and products, but nothing gave me results like this one. Although it works slowly (atleast in my case), it is effective and if your skin is taken care of, it’s once in a lifetime investment. But you might have to be patient for the results and cautious of avoiding your skin triggers. Hope this helps and wish you luck for your skincare journey..!!!

As you know I have always been a fan of yours and have to thank you for making me aware that skin of color is indeed different but unfortunately very few of your suggestions have helped me. Strangely enough I've only seen an improvement after following the suggestions of another white non-professional English KZfaqr 🤣! Thanks to his suggestions (to I'd suppose every color skin) I have finally begun to see some improvement! Of course I will continue to follow you nonetheless 😉.

Her zero-burn tolerance might be the reason for that! I personally have less sensitive skin and have noticed improvement with higher actives percentages than she recommends, but I respect her approach because not everyone can tolerate what my skin tolerates. Unfortunately she can't give personal recommendations for everyone, so it's always up to us to pay attention to our skin's behavior and be as educated as we can be, which she helps with immensely. She has personal experience with patients who have burns and hyperpigmentation from using certain products recommended by others, so it's important to keep that in mind when she recommends products. A lot of this is trial & error unfortunately 😅

Dr. V. my melasma is very stubborn. I tried cheaper alternatives. . I have been using your facial hyperpigmentation kit for 6 months and my melasma is the same. 😭😭 Once a week I exfoliate with the exfoliate to glow. I used prescription strenght 0.025% Tretinoin 1/week. What do you recommend I should do next? My skin as improved by the use of your products. I receive many compliments, but my main concern is still there. Thank you Dr. V

Dr.V, do you have any suggestions for people like myself who has been burned by fire and recovering from 3rd degree burns? My color is coming back way darker in those areas and also afraid some areas may not recover color at all. Any suggestions. What should i be doing or using?

Hi Dr V, Didn’t know about you at all. But recently started using your acne facial kit, my skin is getting used to it though it is too oily sometimes. Also it is so hot - not sure if I can use the AM gel twice a day if I wash my face in the afternoon? One more question I am using Heliocure sunscreen is it ok? Can u make more videos for how to save teens skin? I bought ur kids moisturiser but my 12-years old daughter had too many breakouts after using it. Pls help thanks so much.

Hello Dr.V🙏 Please review the Simple moisturizers. The light hydrating moisturizer and the Rich Replenishing moisturizer ,if they can be used after Tyrosinase inhibitor actives 🙏 or any good Indian brand moisturizer to be used for SOC after such actives.

I have a question: If the area gets a tan from the sun, would the tan eventually go away? Or will it last till you treat it with actives? Please let me know.
