Hypertension nursing NCLEX review about pathophysiology, treatment, nursing interventions, and pharmacology. Hypertension is the amount of resistance of blood pumping through the
body/arteries. It affects organ systems of the body such as the cardiovascular, brain, kidneys, and eyes. A normal blood pressure is less than 120/80 (systolic blood pressure/diastolic pressure). Nursing interventions include assessing hypertension risk factors, obtaining blood pressure readings, evaluating medication compliance, and monitoring for side effects of pharmacological medications used for hypertension.

I passed my entire topic using most of your videos. My readings are so difficult, because they overwhelm you with information and it barely gets reviewed in classes. Your videos are incredibly informative and succinct, and easy to follow. I feel so much more confident in my knowledge and that it will help me extensively during placements.

Hey Sara! Just thought I'd share a trick I came up with after viewing your video. The CAKE thing wouldn't stick in my mind, so I used your idea of a HOSE instead... So my phrase is "the whole HOSE is effected" (H=heart failure; O=optic changes; S=Stroke; E=rEnal failure)... Love your videos!

Are you a cardiovascular nurse? Or what is your speciality in nursing? What are all the specialties is nursing? I'm thinking of going into cardiovascular because I went to my hospital and I just loved the calmness there it wasn't as hectic, I'm a more calm relaxed person or a more behind the sense I had once considered a medical lab tech as well.

Hi my professor for patho he is not providing no material or review sheets for the exam every Other week he cancels the class and then emails your exam will be on 3,4,5 chapters. I’m keep reading the book back to back can’t get anything my head I don’t know what to do?
