This video is meant to commemorate my reaching 1K subscribers. I know some people might find that to be an odd thing to celebrate, but I wanted to show all my fans how much I appreciated them following me and enjoying my content.
To that end, I present to you (with the help of TheMajinV) a dub of Prototype, a story arc from the Mega Man comics that details the origin of Mega Man's brother, Proto Man. I have to say this is probably my best sound mixing yet, I'm real proud of how the sound came out. Of course that also pertains to the voice actors, who turned out some stellar performances in my opinion.

It's nice to see Light and Wily had a nice friendship. Sure, they constantly argued and Wily wasn't very nice to him, but when he notices his friend is starting to cry he drops the argument and tries to make him feel better.

Heart: Broken. It's pretty cool to note the difference between Archie's and Ariga's Blues. Here, his core *can* be fixed without risking his personality. However, misunderstanding and distrust prevented him from seeking the help of the only man than can actually fix him. In Ariga's, his core was flawed due to errors related to his buggy 3-laws compliance program. Fixing his core also requires patching the 3-laws compliance program, thus limiting his free will and potentially removing his personality. Both are awesome, though.

Oh this was great. The games may have minimal story but I love how there *is* a story. Wily was alright once. Robots were mindless. Dr. Light is a flawed human being. People still hurt eachother. Nations still go to war. It's still Earth.

I normally don't cry much but I'd be lying if I said I didn't break into tears on this. I think some of the main reasons was the voice acting was unbelievable you did amazing at that! Also the music totally set the mood! Great job!!

Before the Archie comics, I just thought of Proto Man as a boring red robot that just shows up for no reason. All we knew was that he was Rock's brother. Sure there was some more story, but the games never went into full detail. The comics did. They told us his story. The story of a child that, due to not understanding, ran away from home. And when he returned, he saw that his father had new kids, making him feel abandoned and forgotten. Wily played with those feelings, throwing him at Mega with blind rage. If the comics had lasted long enough to reach MM 5, the game where the Dark Men were introduced, then maybe we could have seen more development. Proto Man fighting against Wily and Shadow Man, rescuing Kalinka, and stopping Dark Man 4 before he could kill Mega. Despite how the comics don't fully connect with the game canon, I like to see them as the real story. Especially for MM 3, with the Doc Robot being a combination of all the MM 2 bosses, Break Man worried about Light and Roll after the explosion, and of course, the ending of the story. I will admit, the whole Mr. X thing was a bit weird. Especially if you try to actually make sense of the damn thing.

I've been on a game kick lately, and searched some random things, and came across this purely by chance. Liked it. After watching the video, and I rarely do this, I was interested I. Seeing who Wily's voice actor was, and it was you! I just wanted to say that was a really good take and performance for that character. I literally had no opinion about Dr Wily before hand! I'm an actor too, so I know that's something I'd like someone to say to me if it was true. Thanks for the video.

It sounds like all he needed to do was swap out the generator. But it also sounds like the generator was intimately integrated with his internal software. That’s quite a fatal design flaw.

I like Archie's Mega Man continuity. It's not really lore friendly but it does its best to be a good representation of the characters. The Robot Masters may not have the ability to be self-aware in the games (it's what made X so special in the X series), but the way the characters are written is extremely compelling.

You know Proto Man and Zero are kinda similar yeah they have things to make them different but think about they're both robots that have free will, they're both red, they were both evil but eventually became good, and most importantly they never called themselves heroes or said there better then Mega Man and X they were just doing the right thing Mega Man and X are great as well but the way Proto Man and Zero are written is just amazing

Protoman is my favorite character in the classic megaman series and he’s also one of my favorite characters in video games, this comic and your dub of it are outstanding, the majinV he voices protoman/blues perfectly. And in my opinion he should voice protoman in the actual games as well
