I just noticed how during Amusia, the pendulum swings at consistent intervals when it’s Ponyta’s turn, but super erratically when it’s Wigglytuff/DISABLED’s turn; I really like that detail, the pendulum can’t keep time properly because DISABLED can’t sing, it’s genius

this is so cool actually i'm gonna make a list of my observations now Hypno's Week: -Quicker pendulum swings Monochrome: -Longer words / 2 word challenges -Pendulum MissingNo: -Unown Typing Frostbite: -Start fight with your Freeze meter at half -Pikachu uses Pain Split more often -Pain Split deals more damage -Typhlosion provides less heat Insomnia: -Accuracy needed to survive increased from 90% to 98% Brimstone: (lots of features on this) -Unown Typing -Start with low HP -BA's singing will decrease your HP slowly -Gengar's appearance causes your notes to fade as they approach the judgement line -MissingNo's glitch effect on the notes -GF's appearance causes the pendulum to appear -GF's appearance also cuts your Max HP in half Amusia: -Pendulum's appearance (becomes harder to hit when DISABLED glitches out, frequently changes in speed throughout the song) Dissension: -From the 2nd section of the song and onwards, extremely heavy health drain applies, to the point where you are constantly 1 note away from death Purin: -Pendulum's appearance -Pendulum becomes invisible near the start of the battle -Pendulum is also kinda off beat for some reason Death Toll: -Whenever the bell rings, you take heavy damage Isotope: -Its honestly hard to tell, really. I honestly kind of like this. I will admit that the pendulum is a bit overused, but then again it mostly makes sense. Though, I have some other ideas for other possible mechanics for Hell Mode if you ever plan to use these -Brimstone’s Unown messages become more fitting to the song (I.e “YOU’RE HERE” (which is always guaranteed to start the song), “SO LONELY”, “FINALLY, FRESH MEAT”, “GHOST”, “GENGAR” and “SLUDGE BOMB”, as well as the typical joke messages like “YOUR FOREHEAD IS LARGE”, “SPELL MUK BACKWARDS” or “DON’T USE THAT HOLE”) and Sludge Bomb is on your screen for longer. -Amusia and Isotope use Missingno’s strum line glitch mechanic. -Purin uses the Celebi mechanic in Monochrome, with Purin occasionally singing to decrease your max health. -Lord X brings in the static notes from Xeno’s week, and MX’s pow block also rotates the notes a bit. -Death Toll also uses Celebi’s mechanic, with HELL BELL sometimes ringing to decrease your max health -Shinto does do the whole “loading in random assets” thing she was planned to do in Shitno, but instead of just bringing in the assets, she also brings in the mechanics from the songs the assets originate from, simply for max hell

There should also be a hell+ mode, here's my ideas: Safety Lullaby, Left Unchecked, Lost Cause, Monochrome, Basically Every Song That Contains The Pendulum: You get hypnotized twice as fast (the red static appears faster when you don't press space) Missingno: The notes move further than normal, meaning more confusion Frostbite: Freakachu's split pain adds 0.25x more damage Insomnia: *PFC or die* Amusia: Notes slightly move everytime WigglyTuff ''tries to sing'' Dissension: *FC or die* Purin: Rather than being hypnotized twice as fast, just have the pendulum be twice as fast Death Toll: Beelze slightly drains your health each time he sings Isotope: Same as Amusia Pasta Night: MX's POW Block also takes away 25% of your health, Lord X drains health twice as much Any songs that i didn't include are either affected by the ''any song that contains the pendulum'' idea or i didn't have ideas for it

a little bug: on upscroll when youre playing brimstone and missingos section ends, the notes go away from the screen and go out of view instead of returning to their original place
