For the first time ever, a course designed by and for professional hypnotists that will teach you how to succeed in the corporate speaking market!
• Anthony Galie announce...
www.corporatehypnotistmastercl...
I have often been asked to post a full presentation of my corporate talk so people could see how, in a such short time, I was able to get groups of highly skilled professionals to be interested enough in the benefits of hypnosis that they would want to experience it themselves. This talk took place in 2012 and was an after dinner event.

Anthony, thank you for being real. I appreciate speaking with you on the phone and giving me your time and recommendations. As a clinically-trained, certified hypnotherapist, I believe that helping people overcome their fears, phobias and blocks to success while increasing their confidence and self-esteem are among the richest treasures a good hypnotherapist can unlock in others to enrich their lives. Changing the world for the better, one life at a time, has been and always will be my goal. Thank you Anthony for all you do.

this is nothing but the "will" of the hypnotist. "will" is the only real thing in all existence, the kernel of nature, accomplish through the human individual. further, the will manifests itself in hypnosis downright as the "thing-in-itself", we see the "principium individuationis" (space and time), which belongs to mere phenomenon, at once annulled: its limits which separate individuals from one another, are destroyed; space no longer separates hypnotist and subject; community of thoughts and of motions of the will appears; the state of clairvoyance overleaps the relations belonging to mere phenomenon and conditioned by time and space, such as proximity and distance, the present and the future.

I think the big guy and the small guy went the deepest / were the best subjects - seeing the big guy going cold and freezing at the mountain top was a sight to behold (56:32). The small guy was going deep, but unfortunately seemed to be somewhat picky with the suggestions he was able to follow - not really sure what went wrong with the thirst / mouth suggestion: might have done better with a suggestion that was not about feelings and body-picture but might have done better with the numbers or names game. The 2nd on the left obviously never went into trance (- negative hand drop test, negative steel bar from the shoulder). The 2nd from the right faked pretty much all of it, as his focus obviously was more on the woman than on the hypnotists voice and suggestions... (and who can blame him) - he couldn’t even remember what to fake, when he was supposed to have forgotten “seven”. There was only two or three good subjects here (- the first one seemed promising as well). There’s lots of videos on this channel with better groups / subjects. (The routine is always the same anyway, for very good reasons).

Hey Mr. Galie. I have been really really intrigued with you videos. You go for a more educational aspect then most other hypnotists I have seen. Anywho. I have been watching some of these videos kzfaq.info and I don't doubt that I have been hypnotized by them. I get that calm relaxed feeling. But here is where I am not sure what is happening. Sometimes I pull myself out of that feeling and go back to "normal". And I can continue without any side effects from what ever video I was watching. On the other hand I can go through an entire video and get the desired result. So what is happening? Am I really being hypnotized or am I just sometimes hypnotized? Thanks for all the great videos by the way. Love 'em!
@Martarts
@Martarts 7 жыл бұрын
Your hypnotized as long as you want to be. You wont feel any different hypnotized vs unhypnotized except more relaxed. You are aware your in hypnosis and you can easily bring yourself out on demand. Seems like you question if you in trance and then you get out of it. One big misconception is that hypnosis is controlling you so you will feel different when your under. This is simply not true.

"We waste huge swash of our otherwise productive day by thinking about what we should of done"... So this huge waste would be a byproduct of digital/cloud environment we are exposed to right? If so, would that imply that before the digital age, we had retained 70-80% of the attention/focus in the "here and now" other than in that "trance" state as you mentioned? So I am wondering if that "trance" state a good or bad thing? On an individual level, would a person before the digital age would be stronger than a digital age person?
@AnthonyGalie
@AnthonyGalie 9 жыл бұрын
John West John....thank you for your question. I have been pointing out the 70-30 split between being in a "conscious" versus "unconscious" state since the 1970's, well before digital became such a force in our lives. In fact, if you look at some of my other videos, that statement appears regularly and it is meant to demonstrate that what is called "hypnosis", is actually a very common state of mind. It is neither good, nor bad. Most people waste the time and some have learned that they can use it to help increase focus and improve productivity. Consciousness is not a continuous process, but rather a collection of frozen moments in time. So, to answer your question, no, people were not retaining 70% more before digital. My point concerning the digital age is that as information processing speed increased exponentially, and a panoply of digital devices (computers, smartphones, etc. ) were integrated into our lives, one result has been an alteration of attention spans resulting in a number of changes in behaviors, some positive (higher efficiency at many tasks) and some not so positive (perhaps ADD). I offered learning self-hypnosis as a technique for retaining focus, a way to cope with the new pressures inherent in the age, and other uses. It is too soon to see the all of the effects this new age we are living in will have on human consciousness, but I suspect we will muddle through it and come to a new norm, just like we did after the invention of the printing press and the steam engine, etc.. Technology has always brought disruption followed by a time that those before could not have imagined. I, for one, am looking forward to seeing it.

No more chance then a random person in the Audience does. At every show, their will always be at least a few people in a light trace in the audience, but generally it has to be directed to be really effective. Now, if you want to, they may be able to help you fall into a light trace state, which I find useful for inducing self-hypnosis.

What actually happens when you tell them to sleep?
@ProfessorJayTee
@ProfessorJayTee 8 жыл бұрын
What happens is whatever they are expecting to happen. This is one reason that all hypnotists give the "pre-talk" or the discussion about hypnosis at the beginning. In a way, we are educating our audience and volunteers as to what they will/should do once they accept that they are in a "trance" (whatever that is) state. If I change my pre-talk, I can change their later behavior; it is that important.

he is a great speaker but that finger test at 29:00 is bullshit, the weak muscles and the position of arms makes muscles getting tired very quickly, that's the reason why they move towards each other, and with closed eyes you don't know how much force you need to apply to keep those straight up. But I'm not denying anything, it's just bad example.
@DebbieTaylorpdx
@DebbieTaylorpdx 9 жыл бұрын
Arthur Vin Hi Arthur. I also do stage hypno, and yes, the finger test is not really hypnosis, but most people don't know that, and so it acts as a convincer. As you know, the placebo effect is very powerful. On stage we do a series of "tests" each with a specific intention. Good call.
@AnthonyGalie
@AnthonyGalie 9 жыл бұрын
Arthur Vin Arthur, In virtually every presentation I ever gave where I would use that example, I make a point of telling the audience that the finger test is not hypnosis....in fact, if you go to 31:00 in the video, you will hear me clearly say "In and of itself, that is not very hypnotic"....If I had enough time onstage, I would elaborate and explain why I do it and what it means. However, in many presentations, like this one, I was on a clock and just didn't have the time to elaborate. Still, I ALWAYS would tell the audience that the test was not "hypnotic", rather a metaphor for the connection between your mind and your body.

I'll give you a hint--it always looks fake... and yet they are still in hypnosis as long as they continue to comply with suggestions. Even people who are hypnotized sometimes deny it later, and come up with many, many rationalizations to explain why they followed suggestions. That's what the conscious mind does--it always rationalizes what the unconscious did, and tries to take credit for it.
@jivebunny3765
@jivebunny3765 2 жыл бұрын
I've seen a few of Gaile's stage shows on here. He often uses very obvious stooges, and never sends back anyone he's not hypnotized because it would show him up, so he often has over half his volunteers faking it. Some of them do it very well, some don't.

@airborne486
@airborne486 9 жыл бұрын
John Papadopoulos yes absolutely when you understand how the brain works and how focus works, under the right conditions this is a powerful tool that anyone can learn to use. Let me give you an example, have you ever had a dream so powerful that it moved you towards achieving it no matter the cost as if being pulled and pushed, or have you ever been doing some sort of repetitive task that you've done a million times and you really get bored and you start thinking about things and come to realize that your done, well guess what, you've successfully hypnotized yourself into completing that task and you knew at anytime you could stop, same kinda concept but in a stage production so a little different but I hope that this can at least kinda help you make sense of this for yourself because as I had said it is definitely worth checking out, and I think you came here anyways because of a curiosity on the subject and if you want to actually try it, Im your guy, just know it'll be different yet familiar to you and to conceptualize at first is strange I agree, I had to do the same thing, but after a while the world just works better, in your favor too because your using all the natural tools you have been given and understand it better, anyone can do this, and so can you that is of course if you want to, can't make a horse drink and what not, even if their dying of thirst. Hey thank you and have a great day!

Ok, he claims to be a psychologist, fine. So he's not a computer scientist. So he doesn't understand a computer only does one thing at a time, also. Well, now there are multi core professors that can handle 4, 8, 16 cores of info at once. But when this was made I don't think even dual core was out yet. An OS might be running 8 programs on the screen at once but only one thing at a time is being handled by the processor. It gives the illusion of multitasking by switching between them very quickly. And the whole bit about not remember your drive to work? As a psychologist he should know that's called automation and it's perfectly normal. It happens when we drive, shower, eat, any mundane task we do all the time can happen during automation. It's normal and has nothing to do with being aloof. No one ever says lol out loud in normal conversation. It's shorthand. We abbreviated things long before computers. Oh my God cloud computing is not ...ugh. nevermind. I thought he was going to say quantum computing but he went with cloud. /Sigh cloud computing is NOTHING like a hologram. This guy has no idea what he's talking about. He sounds like a grandpa in the 60s talking about TV, "that thing will rot your brain!" Or a grandpa in the 90s talking about video games.
