honestly those guys who didn't get it done on them is proof of hypnotism. true hypnotism is about whether the participant wants to be affected or not
@maxkrepps94744 жыл бұрын
how is that proof? (Also, he was kind of semi-coercing them to cooperate, by making them leave if they didn't cooperate).

Who is he educating? He is simply spreading lies. Seeing uses light, and you see when light is reflected off an object into your eyes, and this is hey you cannot see when there is no light, as there is not to reflect into your eyes. How could light going into your eyes put you asleep? Hearing is what happens when sound waves travel into your ear and vibrate your eardrum, which in turn, vibrates a liquid in your ear that tells your brain what you are hearing. Sound waves can not transmit anything of the such either. This is fake. The performance was set up, and people liked spreading false statements are the same people who believe the earth is flat.

@jamessteinmetz7476 Жыл бұрын
Regardless of who believes that hypnosis is fake, there are hypnoanesthesiologists meaning anesthesiologists certified to use hypnotic suggestion as an adjunct or even an alternative to chemical anesthesia. Hypnotherapy is used heavily in conjunction with cognitive behavioral therapy with good outcomes. There are several hypno bars that give patrons the choice of hypnotic intoxication or alcoholic intoxication. If you choose the former, when it's closing time "hypnotoxicated" patrons are brought to sobriety by a count to 6. Finally, they have found that most eyewitnesses give a more or less perfect recollection when under hypnotic suggestion. Yep this works just differently from the stereotyped portrayal. Oh yeah, pheromones, another controversial topic. They not only work, they have a powerful and complex effect on homosapiens than in the lower orders. We arguably represent the highest form of evolved organisms on earth. Our responses to visual and auditory stimulus are more sophisticated than any other animals, again that's as far as we know. Ours cover more different types of receptors that are located in different parts of our upper respiratory system. There are a number of different Alpha and Beta molecules as well as secretory molecules, copulins, and oxytocin that work synergistically on our receptors. The effect can be sexual, romantic, status or nonsexual connective. Using Alpha pheromones in an inappropriate context can yield hostile, even violent reactions from people that the wearer encounters. Again, their effect is complex, misuse/misapplication can blow up in one's face. Too much of Alpha can lead to a self effect of depression. Skillful use in the appropriate context and a cover scent can yield dramatic results.

~Story Time~ I was in 6th grade, it was the end of the year, and my whole choir class (along with another school’s choir) were having a recital. We had an hour to just mess around backstage with our friends. I was sitting with 4 of my friends in a circle, and one of my friends claimed that he could hypnotize anyone he wanted. So one of my other friends was skeptic, so they sat facing with each other, and he was in the middle of a sentence, and suddenly, my hypno-friend snapped his fingers and my skeptical friend collapsed into my other friends’ lap. The rest of us were freaking out cause it was awesome, and then he bolted upright, no expression whatsoever, nothing, and all of us just stared at him like he was a ghost. The reason... he was basically known for being super loud and crazy and never EVER stopped. Eventually, he snapped him out of it, and when he got up again, he asked what happened. We explained what happened, and he asked us to tell him the truth, so we said that we did, and he was just weirded out. He still has no ides what happened to this day, and it scared us to out cores.

i have a huge fear of getting hypnotized because i’m scared to be stuck in that state forever and feeling like i have no control over my own actions, i know all hynotists say you have full control and you can always get out of the state if you ever feel in danger but it still frightens me so much

Hypnotism doesnt work if you dont want it to... You have to be a willing participant and play along... essentially you are acting and letting them control you. He literally threatens to send them off stage if they dont do precisely what he wants.

@@davidshareefChTPhD You could not hypnotize someone that did not want to be hypnotized, end of story. If you read any legitimate journal article on hypnosis and the mechanisms, they will all agree that the person being hypnotized must be a willing participant or else it will not work.

Reminds me a lot of John Milton, the Spanish dude that also hypnotizes people which has more of a comedic purpose, but I feel they're in the same field of area, both still done for comedic purposes
