Many people think that the hypnosis clips I post on You Tube are either fake, or staged. I have never posted anything other than genuine, unrehearsed individuals in real hypnotic trances. I have been hypnotizing people for over a half a century, and naturally have become quite adept at recognizing better than average subjects for demonstration purposes. But, none of it is faked in any way.

All stage hypnosis is fake. This is known to most scientific minded people, which is why such ‘hypnotists’ are encountered on stage and never in a laboratory.

@@AnnaHerrick I, or anyone I know, was never taught anything regarding hypnosis at school. As a once stagehand however, I worked with several of them. They all preformed an act extremely similar to the one featured in this KZfaq video. Without exception, all their supposedly hypnotised ‘subjects’ were faking, 100%.

Or is actually real?? Look up on Google, hypnosis natural state of mind. Research research and research has been done. You are right that stage hypnotist do the exact same routine, once you seen one you have seen them all....

with what i’ve learned watching these videos it all depends on the person whether or not they want to be hypnotized.. if you’re tense and un relaxed you obviously won’t get hypnotized. i remember not ever believing this type of stuff but once i followed this one hypnosis video (i recorded myself to see if it’ll work) i kept drifting in and out of it and once the video was over i was so confused as to if it worked or not and i looked back at the recording and seen myself following the directions of the video and i didn’t remember any of it. hypnosis is next level shit

You haven't learned anything. What you'll need to do is study human behavior. Psychology. Hypnosis works because most people are obedient, egotistical and conforming sheep. That is all. These stage shows work because people A) want to be told what to do (Obedient) B)want attention by an audience (Ego) C) Want to fall in line with others (conform). That is the trick. Nothing less, nothing more.

When I learned hypnosis I was in college. I was reminded by one of my professors that it is backed by the APA. It is science. This is such a wonderful demonstration of how and why it works. I really enjoyed it a great deal.

I have always found your videos to be honest and respectful to the visualizers as well as the audience. I thought your gate theory on Hypnosis was fantastic! Recently I became so fascinated in Hypnotize related topics. It's crazy what people can do and I'm considering learning it as a hobby? I'm not sure, but I really enjoy it over-all. I'm sure it's not fake, it's just some people are harder to get hypnotized than others . . . and they may realize they're struggling so they may fake it. Over-all it's amazing what people can do!

I would love to learn how to do this just to help people and make others smile like you do in every one of these high school/corporate videos. It's really interesting not just what you can suggest to incredible subjects, but also the science behind it. This would be way better to pursue then my accounting at the moment.

Seen a lot of hypnosis guys and girls hypnotize people before, but this man here from all his videos is the worlds best on this planet and time for this error. He makes it look easy and like it’s just having a slice of cake to eat, in another way to say this: just try and move like Michael Jackson on his best day performing , like I was saying there is not one human who can do this like this Gentelmen is doing for these kids, amazing performance, even Michael Jackson is showing us how to move like he would. We all can try and do the moves, but no one can move like him, this is the way this hypnosis is doing and showing, there is only one, in another words he is the best on the planet ........

IDK for sure how all of this works so the following is simply speculation: I believe that it's kinda like self hypnosis. These students knew what they were coming in for and after being chosen, they were expecting him to try and hypnotize them. This already puts their mind in a semi-trans with their subconscious already looking for signs and instructions to act on.

I don’t get why people don’t believe in hypnotism, were I live all therapists are trained in hypnotism and after going through therapy in a touch situation I learnt hypnotism for myself (in basic)

Because hypnotism is commonly attributed to superpowers, and the paranormal. It really isn't. We go into hypnosis every day, quite frequently. Unless you're addicted to meth.

Here in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, when I was a child, in the sixties, there was a man who made demonstrations like this. He went to my school and hypnotized an entire auditorium where there were about three hundred people. I remember that he made people put their hands together and then get stuck without being able to let go of one hand from the other.

Every uncut video you publish either starts already with subjects on stage or cuts at the exact moment you start to choose people. I'm interested in knowing what technique you use in order to identify good subjects! Thanks!

From what I know you ask them to close their eyes. And ask them to hold balloons. And tell them to imagine there or more and more balloons and that its raising their arms. But to just imagine it and not actually do it. The people who are good subjects will think they havent moved their arms but really their arms have gone up. They won't know till they open their eyes. They think they just imagined it But it really happened. Or you hold out each hand and imagine something heavy in one and light in the other. Telling them its getting heavier and lighter and one arm would be higher and the other lower. Again they think they just imagine it happening and that their arms are still in the same place. Until they open their eyes and see that it really happened. If they arent good at imagining then their arms would be in the same place. The better they can imagine then the bigger of a difference they will get.... Hard for me to explain in text. Hope that helps.

Ages ago my uncle, who was a legit therapist at the VA (Veterans Administration) said that he was considering using Hypnosis to help patients who were on kidney dialysis, to help to reduce the anxiety that goes with it. I think this could also be helpful for people who need infusion which requires IVs placed in the arm, never a pleasant experience.

Okay, explain this to me. Plainly, the girl on the end was an elephant, but instead of behaving like an elephant, she pantomimed, using her arm like a trunk, a gesture any real elephant would never do. Normally, I chalk up such inconsistencies as semi-autonomous portions of the brain (locomotion and object manipulation) being unaffected. but this I can't figure out.

It is Real. But just at the stage level. down the stage might not happen like that. These young guys on the stage do not need hypnosis. they are already in hypnosis. This is the effect of the stage. Of course an experienced hypnotist can boost the effect. Well done
