I had a dusty tell me I’m “wasting”money that I spent on myself for hair, nails, etc but always used to drop obvious hints about the Jordan’s that I should be getting him. So happy I have a man now that spoils me and contributes. It’s such an amazing difference.

I work with may dusty men. Im their supervisor. They will either flirt with me thinking I would be interested so I could finance a better life for them or they think I'm stuck up bc I have standards. There are a couple who seek my advice on what to do to better their lives financial. I only talk to them bc they are young men who don't want to be dustys and we talk daily about different books and networking events to become more financially independent

The irony is a lot of these guys could learn a lot from self care, self discipline and self love. Attractive is not the same as pretty. A lot of people would be very attractive if they fixed their nasty attitudes.

I’ve seen men who believe they have the RIGHT to bring a woman down because they themselves are miserable. One of the worst traits any human being can have. shows a lack of responsibility, accountability and a moral compass 🧭

Social Media gives these dusties confidence because in reality most of them would not even have courage to say something to us in person.

I've had a couple dusty men try to bring me down to the level of their dustiness because that was their approach to get to know me. So they would insult me, hoping that I would be intrigued by that and take the bait. No sir. Dusties are the type that will put hands on you for rejecting them too. They’re so broken and fragile. Like the guy who shot and killed the young lady in the club because she refused to give him her number. An attractive, well-to-do man handles rejection well because he knows he’s a catch at the end of the day. But a dusty just cannot handle rejection in any form. They’ll flip on you for saying no, even in the most polite way. I’ve experienced it.

A dusty FB started trolling me on FB, so I had to block and delete him. Moving forward, I limit the amount of FB friend requests that I accept. Not only did he act horribly, but his behavior was as ugly as his appearance. Dusty men are bitter, broken men. Don't even feel sorry for them.

Former dust bunny here. Lol. It took me time and healing to realize how I allowed and tolerated dusty men in relationships. I had to soul search and ask myself why. I came to the conclusion that I thought I was not good enough. A dusty does not require leveling up as a woman. Although I wanted to level up... subconsciously I believed I didn't deserve it. I wasted years on men that were either broke or lived by the 50/50 rule. My last serious relationship saw its end when I was making plans to purchase my first home. My ex and I were previously making plans to move in with each other. I encouraged him to move in with me once I purchase my home and he said "I'm not trying to help someone else pay their mortgage" I asked him wtf does that mean... especially considering that technically you are helping a stranger pay their mortgage by renting. That was my wake up call. But I ignored all the previous signs.

Dusties staying in women's conversations is natural to them. Who do you think raised them their whole lives? Nothing but women. All up in mama's and granny's conversations. You gotta make him go to the store for Newport's just to get him out the damn house lol...

Ex dust bunny story: I was deploying shortly and going through a lot in my personal life and in a very dark place prior, I ended up hanging out with this dusty I knew for 10 years but would never give him the time of day before, he just happened to message me at the perfect time of chaos in my life when I was vulnerable. I ended up dating him and became a dust bunny almost instantly, paying all his bills and spoiling him (like an idiot) I deploy (which was the best thing to ever happen to me) bc I started disconnecting and loosing interest in this loser gradually, realizing I was just in a dark spot and Wanted someone to hold on to. He started being verbally and emotionally abusive while I was overseas and paying all his bills. Telling me no one would want me bc i was old and bitter, i was 26 at the time. He told me his mom was trying to hook him up with a doctor in order to manipulate me and make me feel “not enough” 😂😂I may have been in a dark place but i knew for a fact no doctor would be caught dead with this bum. (This didn’t last long, not even 2 mons) this low value loser had the nerve to complain to me that he wouldn’t have enough money to go to Vegas for his birthday when I was already paying all his bills. He was hinting so I’d give him in the money. 😂😂😂 like you can’t even pay your bills and you’re worried about going to Vegas for your birthday 🙄 he was getting more and more angry bc i wasn’t taking the bait to offer to pay for his Vegas trip. That was the moment I realized what a piece of shit he truly was and it was enough for me to fully pull the plug completely. I was out of my self loathing slump and snapped back to reality. Said well sorry to hear that, blocked him from everything and never spoke to him again on that deployment. After I had been back for awhile he had made a new Facebook tried talking to me again. I do not advise doing this, ladies it can be potentially dangerous and I was vengeful at the time but I would fake act like I was interested in him again and tell him I was sending him money and credit cards just to get his hopes up for nothing in revenge for treating me like shit and not appreciating what I did for his loser ass. I was never sending him anything, I just wanted to torture this bum. I also didn’t live in the same state, he was dead broke and couldn’t come after me. This entire dust bunny situation lasted 5 mons. Which is nothing compared to a lot of dust bunny stories but still within 5 mons I went from lust, to “love”, to loosing complete respect for this kid who “was just going through a tough time” to be being disgusted by him. We will never respect a man who can’t be a man.

My ex Dusty (age 51) is so bitter because he still owes child support on kids that are 25 and 30 yrs. Ladies, please get ALL the real facts BEFORE you marry them. Listen just as closely to what he is NOT telling you when he's complaining about how unfair life is to him. The best thing that happened to my life was ... divorce! My life has turned around 1000% since I left potential -filled Dustys alone. Now my motto is ... Never again #StayDustyFree🌪

Dusty men also want the privilege that women have as well. That's where a lot of the misplaced anger Is coming from.

Hi everyone! I'm over here in the south dealing with a narcissist dusty. He also has made social media his home by being on fb all throughout the day when there's so many other things that he could be tending to that need his attention. His relationship, kids, house repairs etc. Instead hes on fb liking, posting, commenting or sharing like a 16 yr old child. I am just so tired and fed up with trying to get him to understand how he is/has destroyed our connection through his selfish mindset. It has just been an exhausting yet mindblowing experience and this channel has really helped me to open my eyes to the truth. When I say that, I mean not only truth about him but about me as well.

I guess the most perplexing characteristic of a dusty is that they hate who what and where they are but they also love it too much to change. I have alot of experience with them because it took me a long time to figure out that I was my main problem. I had the build a man syndrome. My first encounter with dusties took place on Twitter. This was in ‘08 before the rise of Black Twitter. He was a miserable troll from ATL. Most of the young girls feared him or enabled his foolishness. He was especially degrading towards WOC and thrived on negative attention because that was the only time we paid him any. Twitter was the breeding ground for dusty rejects. The majority of its Black male users were dusties in their prime. Just cultivating their space all while living in grandma’s basement. They were always from NY, GA or the DMV. Losers!

LOL I love that you added dusty white men pics. I never knew till recently how broke & dusty they can be till my car got stuck in flood & he helped pull it out claiming we were meant to be.. Come to find out nice new truck was his brothers company truck. He lived in converted shed with no toilet. And had up to 3 kids I found out about because they're mama's were dumping them at his shed. Omg shocked me. His cabinets & fridge were bare. He spent his money on beer & ?And this was in nice suburb area. Just be cautious of jumping from fire to flames or however that saying goes.

Wow I got verbally assaulted by a dusty on my way out last night. He was angry cause he have no place to live. Broke. No job. And not getting laid. But he want to sit in my apt and waste my time. I started ignoring him. He coulden handle the rejection. I kept walking. He needed attention in the worse way. I told him straight up I don't have time for that. I don't we both over 50. Ladies, I came to two strange realities. Occasionally, men that were raised with their fathers who were protectors and providers can choose to behave and have a dusty lifestyle. Secondly, be aware of the male dusties in your family. They exist and can pave the way in your poor decisions in men.

I’m so embarrassed that my last two exes were pretty much dusty. The former was a textbook “hotep”, low motivation and terrible hygiene. The latter did pay for everything when we’d go out but he had no plan, no motivation and no gainful career options. I’m so glad I’m on the road to hypergamy.
