Jan 2024: V3Cars drives the 2024 Hyundai Creta CVT to find out how it performs. The Creta is available with the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a CVT-type automatic transmission.

Best comparison will be Elevate ZX MT 1.5 vs Seltos HTX 1.5 vs Creta SX 1.5 priced almost similar around 15lk ex-showroom.

Best feature When u are reversing and a vehicle pass from back it applies sudden and strong brake and ensure avoiding possible collision. It doesn't allow car to reverse till backside is clear.

Thank you for providing such a comprehensive review of the Car ADAS features. Your attention to detail is truly appreciated and incredibly valuable for anyone considering this technology. I still have one doubt and would appreciate your assistance. For illustration, if I disable a few ADAS capabilities and then turn off the ignition, will these disabled features reactivate automatically the next time I turn on the ignition? And Next thing is does the forward collision warning also works when car speed is around say 20?

Great review as usual..QQ- i thought blind spot monitoring is only in the top model and not sx tech. Can you please confirm?

Blindspot View Monitor (BVM) and Surround View Monitor (SVM) are not in SX Tech (even with ADAS!). Only in SX(O)....as per Creta's brochure on Hyundai's website

Hi I’m having astor cvt…5k km driven…but it is laggy….is it worth upgrading to creta cvt….is there rubberband effect in all cvts same….

Rubber band effect is inherent in all CVT's. That's because the engine revs to a certain power band before shifting. The best CVT's in my opinion are made by Honda and Toyota who seem to have mastered the art well after so many years of usage.

Only rear collision cannot be permanently turned off, remaining other features can be turned off . This was told to me by SA during test drive

What is the use of such cars since S Variant do not come in IVT. Why is there no automatic transmission in such variants? This is a big miss by Car companies. Automatic Transmission is a basic necessity these days. What about a person who wants all functional features without a sunroof? A person buying an automatic transmission variant forcefully needs to buy a sunroof variant! This is simply unacceptable. Only Toyota or Tata understand this funda and they give Automatic variants without sunroof. Korean Car manufacturers force the sunroof on an automatic variant!
