A very comprehensive review. I own a Hyundai ix35 1.6 petrol for over 4 years and it has been so reliable the warranty has not been needed (so far). Service costs are really reduced by the service plan.

Being pedantic here but it isn't a transmission tunnel in the rear though is it? It doesn't contain a drive shaft. Cars have them for strength and rigidity otherwise a flat floor would be weaker.

I nearly bought an i10 or i20 before I played it safe and got my second Honda Jazz ..... the thing that lets the Honda down is refinement, which the Hyundai seems to have taped. There's something Audi-like in the design too - not a bad thing to my eye.

Definitely a good improvement on previous Hyundai interiors, maybe the i20 will replace the Jazz on the drive one day!

@@Ambienfinity You're not far off wrong with the Audi like design. I've heard a few top designers for modern Hyundai cars worked across the VW group. The chief Designer of the Hyundai Kona for example designed the Lamborghini Murcielago, he originated from Audi. Given this 2019 facelift i20's Grille design that it shares with the Kona, he may have had a hand in refining this model as well.

@@OsvUkVehicleSupply Thanks, so far so good the fuel economy is pretty good and the kit is excellent. The only thing that's not been great is a squeaky driver's seat. Hopefully the dealer can put this right. Overall I'm really impressed with the bang for buck value of the car. My 59 BMW 118D had an mpg of 50 the i20 gets 47mpg which is pretty good for a petrol ⛽. The BMW didn't even have cup holders, so much for a premium brand 😊🙄

Very detailed review, I enjoyed watching this. Considering the now discontinued 1.4 petrol manual version. The work Hyundai have done in NVH interests me, it seems to be a very quiet and refined car and mature in its manners. It's well styled too. As for the interior the earlier interiors were 2 tone and visually more appealing. The brown colour-way would be my preference.

In India, The interior of this car is in beige and black colour which looks quite good

1.2 engine is the better one the 1-litre turbo version tend to get thrashed and this impacts on fuel economy.

@@arkogoswami9648 you shouldn't really need to use the clutch unless you're slowing down considerably or coming to a stop. It really depends on how fast your going and the corner you turning. You should be able to remain in third gear if your approaching a corner going from.30 to 23+. I've been driving for some time and am no expert, I would say experience would be best with a few driving lessons.

@@rozemarshall9334 See my question is simple, when I make a turn I always use clutch first till the bottom & then brake to make the really slow, & when I've made that turn in a straight road, I release the brake, followed by the clutch slowly...now my question is will wear down my clutch plate quicker?? Please let me know...

If the i20 is a supermini, what is the i10 then? Hypermini? ou forgot to compare with the Mitsubishi Mirage 1.2 CVT. A bit smaller, much cheaper, better equipped, a bit slower, but who cares. Also 5 year warranty much more economical, and proven reliability. I don't understand that you recommend a GDI turbo engine. By design they are prone to carbonising up and wear and tear.

Zo te zien is de i10 niet echt kleiner, ook de info scherm van de i10 is veel mooier een stukje hoger alleen de voorkant en achterlichten van de i20 zijn weer veel mooier
