My first look and drive with the brand new 2022 Hyundai Kona N and I love it! Do you guys have any thoughts on the Kona N and has seeing the car first hand changed your opinion? Because it sure did for me!

Owned the Kona N and traded for the Veloster N manual in performance blue. Kona N is a great practical and fast car, I just found the Veloster has more road feel, less body roll and like the overall look better.

Definitely looks better and has less body roll with the lower centre of gravity for sure. Im torn..

I like the front on the Veloster more and front to side transition. The side to back transition i like less although even the Kona N I purchased could use a redesigned back as well.

Here in the u.s I could not get mine in that blue… the only blue we get looks more gray than blue lol.. but I still the car.. fun car for anyone who likes to drive!

Really? That's odd the "performance blue" paint should be a standard Hyundai color for all N cars all over the world... I know they come in both grey and blue!

Kona for sure but if they are full size people then 4 is better hate to be in the middle.

Id recommend kona N but fun fact, Elantra n has bigger interior volume than the kona n 😆

The n sedan for sure. Bigger inside and a better daily driver. Suspension is less harsh in normal mode, better interior, less road noise and at the end of the day the Kona doesn't handle as well. In terms of size the Kona is tiny. It's smaller than the N hatch we have here in Australia

Kona N had one of the fastest lap times with Car and Driver. Beat a GTI by 5 seconds!

In N mode it holds the gears for too long and it shouldn't do that.

I didn’t find that it did that although I would never have it in N mode and not use the paddles i mean that is the whole purpose of a DCT automatic after all right?

Just get a N sedan it's better in every way. If you don't like stiffness this is harsher than the Elantra n. I don't get the point of this car.. it's a SUV without AWD , centre of gravity is no where near as good as the hatch , sedan and Veloster.

Have you driven a Kona N? Ive driven all 3 Elantra N was my least favourite except for the interior the EN has the nicest interior but dont like the exterior look and just as low to the ground as the VN I already own a huge reason I’m interested in KN’s is the ground clearance

@@brashgarage if ground clearance is a issue for you than sure but it 100% drives better than the hatch and the Kona I've driven here in Australia. It's more planted to the road and a lot less body roll.. not to mention better NVH and not as harsh suspension in comfort mode.

Elantra N is ugly and too long imo .. nicer interior tho. Not everyone likes sedans as well as not everyone likes hatchbacks or suv.
