They really can't even if they wish too.. the 1.5-litre TSI and the seven-speed DSG are completely imported in India , unlike Verna's 1.5 turbo which is totally assembled here.

With stiff suspension

I visited and handpicked the Verna in its turbo red stitched Balck interiors. It was quite a good comfy space and more legroom. But City is still the best ❤

Appreciate the input but I have a few reasons why these weren't focused on as much. Ground Clearance is just numbers and can be easily looked up. Build quality is something all three cars have in spades and that isn't somewhere they fall short. Besides it's something you can easily experience as a buyer on your test drive. Safety features again differ from the varient you pick and choose. Headlights are something we've been meaning to test but would require us to switch equipment for something that can shoot the lights better at night and also measure the luminosity. High speed handling is something we cannot shoot on public roads but it's something we intend to test in the future. Brake bite is again something that can be quite subjective and has a lot of variables that can affect the outcome like surface, tyres and weather. I appreciate the harsh criticism but there are parameters that tend to limit us too. Thanks to watching our video though. Hoping we can win a few compliments from you in the future.

It's pretty decent around corners. Though it's not nearly as agile as the Skoda Slavia.

the reviewer was jabbering his mouth and ate up the ADAS tech which is avail right lower the spec 2nd base model now they got paid to go "hush hush" and not make it out a major factor & USP in the CITY!

He ignored the 4 cylinder and the ADAS of honda. And mentioned all his summary is vague.

​​@@TopGearMagIndia In features and soft touch materials yes somewhere compared to the competition but the strong points of Slavia/Virtus are just too strong with the most points in GNCAP which ultimately made it the safest car of India (with 5 stars in child safety) .... Not to forget they forced Hyundai to launch 1.5 GDI with verna and upcoming creta...... still I doubt that the 1.5 GDI is already running in higher state of tune however I'm sure 1.5 TSI is running on low state of tune....... it can produce morw than 180 bhp if VAG does so.......... Also VAG even showed the amount of high strength steel used in it which I don't think Hyundai/Honda can do in case of their respective cars. Ofc there's always room for improvement in every car with some or the other package but as an overall package I can see Slavia/Virtus outperforms it's rival......

@@kd-qn9dj VAG can do alot of things if they choose to do so. Lemme tell you one fact..... The power figures of VAGs on paper are not true at all.... If u check it on dyno they'll be more ...... It's just that VAG is being modest and on the other hand Hyundai is ...... There's one article wherein Hyundai was sued for showing exaggerated power figures in their car which was in Brazil 😂😂😂 And I absolutely agree if VAG commits here they can really launch great cars and this cars would be untouchable as you said but I think they're happy with whatever is happening rn....... Their main focus still is on exports and their export quota is full which matters most to them.....

I have honda city top model am 100% sure honda is best in handling the steering reaction is great in honda verna has only power in mid no steering feedback , even honda *NA* ENGINE will make 105km/hr in 2nd gear ur verna cant am writing this after driven both, if u want real fun to drive car go for VW if want comfort plus good powered NA GO FOR HONDA

Not true. I think we were comparing a certain type of cars with certain type of performance and features and the Maruti didn't cut it for us. Nevertheless we can still do a video with it in the future.

I don't know why but i just hate city.. it was cool when it came out but after every other car launched afterwards.. no from me The interior is too old looking i think.. especially the screen

Why city? It has the lowest ground clearance of 165mm , even verna has 170mm , city is not good in indian roads

Honda City with its naturally aspirated engine is low on performance compared to its turbocharged rivals....so it better be cheap(which it isn't, for what it offers) ......but who would have thought that a day will come when Honda City(once a performance benchmark) will be the least powerful car in a comparison test........ .clearly competition has upped the game while Honda hasn't!!
