David Erfle is a self-taught mining sector investor. He stumbled upon the mining space in 2003 as he was looking to invest into a growing sector of the market. After researching the gains made from the 2001 bottom in the tiny gold and silver complex, he became fascinated with this niche market. So much so that in 2005 he decided to sell his home and invest the entire proceeds from the sale into junior mining companies. When his account had tripled by September, 2007, he decided to quit his job as the Telecommunications Equipment Buyer at UCLA and make investing in this sector his full-time job. David founded the Junior Miner Junky subscription-based newsletter in April, 2017 and writes a weekly column for precious metals news service Kitco.com, whose website attracts nearly a million visits every day.

Wow! What a great video. you so well articulated. Monetary and Fiscal policies should work hand in hand to have a full effect, but we live in an era where government just doesn't care, it will spend and double-down and spend more and more.. it just doesn't care, and it would debilitate the monetary policy. The sad outcome will be likely BOTH the transition to a digital dollar CBDC that will give ultimate control to the government thus shrinking even more the independence of the central bank. At some point the central bank will have no actual meaning left. Honestly, it feels we're not too far from it already..... I would buy Bitcoin and buy hard assets like gold /silver as a store of value while also actively trading...The only wild card for us investors is to actively engage the market by trading, it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 732k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Kerrie Farrell, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape....

i-80 Gold. C$115M and diluted by just under 70M shares, it was a 1/2 Warrant not a full, for 48 months. I no longer own it, sold on the last rally. I put the proceeds into a couple of shovel-ready, permitted projects in Nevada and Wyoming. Thanks for posting this update, Bill.

I-80 Gold Short position 🔻 As of May 31st, there was short interest totalling 27,170,000 shares, an increase of 14.1% from the May 15th total of 23,820,000 shares. Approximately 7.8% of the shares of the stock are sold short. Based on an average trading volume of 4,220,000 shares, the days-to-cover ratio is presently 6.4 days.

I used to watch this channel a lot back in 2021, always loved the content but a lot of compaies that get interviewed/talked about are absolute dogs becaus they are so early stage. Trillion energy which is down so much is one such tale....to see I-80 Gold here makes me extremely worried. Nobody else has talked about I-80 like here though, a great sight to see and reminds me why I used to watch back in the day and need to come back here more often! Best I get out soon.

Hmmm … If guys like Dave are all in, the generalists are doing whatever they’re doing in another part of the market and the majors are spinning out non-core assets rather than keeping the oitg I don’t see where the fuel for short covering comes from (ok it always happens but without volume it doesn’t last) for the moment.

The Canadian juniors also have currency risk if you are in the states. I have a position in I-80 and am underwater. The financial reporting to find out news, cash on hand, debt is horrible. Any suggestions to find out more info?
