The talk about Indian farmers putting all their spare money after harvesting season into gold is a perpetually played misnomer by these gold investment gurus . None of them ever visited rural India let alone lived there. Many of them didn’t visit india in last 10 years maybe never had they. Some guy writes about it once and gurus carry it on and on without any new evidence . Words like in their DNA falsely imply authenticity. Even for weddings an increasing percentage of Indians are buying artificial gold jewelry with little or no gold in them . These guys would do a big favor if they stick to what they really know

Always been curious if he likes Westhaven Gold again, since it's been on sale like, forever now. He liked it a few years ago and then said he sold it, but his reason was they never hit a 2nd discovery, which struck me as a kind of weak reason to sell.

So I'm torn, seen this movie before. May take a year, but I think he's right. Not saying top is in, but I've learned. I keep a healthy percentage of my portfolio in short ETFs. Insurance. If everything goes to hell. They go up. The small allocation pays big and offsets losses in bad times

Good management would not be pursuing a bad project! But it's probably as hard to judge management as it is to judge a deposit. If you're a geologist you have an advantage with the latter.

Good talk. But she is making too much generalization. Good questions from the host, most of them could've answered differently. Besides, Management is what drives a project. A poor management with a good ground could kill the project. But a good management with bad ground could make the strategic pivots pretty fast and acuire better properties that are good for investors.
