This game is literally my childhood. I used to play Nintendogs all the time when I was younger, and I even find myself suddenly coming back once in a while. Was pleasantly surprised when I saw the notification of you playing it :D

Yep, I also played this all the time, and trained up my dogs so much on that game, also had a cat or 2. It was so much fun when I revisited it years ago, and I check on them every once in a while

Fun Fact: My labrador's name [Samira] originated from Nintendogs. I had a Corgi there who could do all the tricks and was first in every contest (I spent a lot of time on nintendogs okay? xD). I loved that dog so much I would spend all my time there. So when we went to pick up my puppy and the woman there asked me what I will name her, I was so overwhelmed with it I just said 'Samira' and that was it.

I’ve been playing this game for over 10 years and honestly I’d LOVE a remake/remaster I don’t have much else to say but uhh good luck with your dog ventures small edit: my first dog on this game was a dachshund named Qudy (I couldn’t spell cutie) and I still have her to this day :)

You gotta spend time in the park to do the frisbee practice. Train your dog to not only chase the disc, but jump for it, and then most importantly, IMMEDIATELY return with the frisbee and give it to you.

you gotta practice in the park!!! I was able to get my dog to the point of consistently catching the frisbee through training it in the park, and i got a gold trophy on all of the competitions. i was so proud of my doggie

I still have the original Nintendo DS game card version of Nintendogs. Haven't played it in years but I do know that I would always cry whenever I had to get rid of a dog just to get a new one. Also, my Shiba Inu was the god of the disk and obstacle competitions.
