if you haven't already added it, ambient occlusion would make the game (or clone or whatever) look more realistic. Also things like bloom, lens flairs or even halation and volumetric fog if you can afford to render it would make it look amazing!

I love that There are lot of people on the internet who can help you when you most needed. KZfaq tutorials, documents, resources are helpful for people who couldn't take enough knowledge from school but luckly, learning programing is getting easier and knowledge is also getting more accessible by the time

I love these videos they inspired me to start learning how to make games like this. I started SFML, was wondering if you could make a tutorial series on how to make a terraria clone? The hardest part is code organization tbh

Yes that is the hardest part indeed. I will make some videos in that regard soon and I think they will help but I have to say the best way to learn how to organize your code is to make projects yourself and learn from those 💪💪

You can make the water look way better by making it almost completely transparent, then multiplying the color of the background a Lerp. The step of the lerp should be the depth of the water (background depth - water surface depth), the A of the lerp should be white, and the B of the lerp should be a cyan color. This way, the deeper water makes the background image multiplied by a darker and darker cyan, which creates a beautiful gradient.

I actually have something like that, I want to first add screen space reflections tho, in the video it is 50% transparent and now I made it with the fresnel rule. I still need to figure out SSR tho for a nice result. Thanks for the tips 💪

Please remove the annoying subtitles in the start, and instead make the subtitles "embedded" in the video by using KZfaq's own feature. I find it very distracting.
