Notice the timing. As soon as he raged against Jiren, his MUI was over. His angry Kamehameha lasted a second in real-time, and he basically had Jiren on the ground for 5 seconds. After the 6th second, his back splurted lots of blood and he was dying on the ground.

Yup. That's what's been so consistent throughout the Dragon Ball franchise, Goku's love for his friends and family, his thrill for battle, and his determination to be the strongest warrior he can possibly be. ❤ I think true Dragon Ball fans can notice that too, even when he's made mistakes or acted selfishly. Something else that has been consistent throughout the franchise is his kindness. He never turns down someone who needs help and he always tries to see the best in everyone, even if it can get frustrating at times. 💕

I like the distinction that Goku is NOT a hero, because he never was. The only reason he kills bad guys is because they typically target his friends. Plus, Roshi taught him to protect the innocent.

To be fair to Jiren's point, the very idea of relying on others to gain strength is what lead to his suffering in the first place. It wasn't until he realized he couldn't only rely on his own strength and his own power in order to succeed that he was able to get so strong. In other words, the idea that there is someone like Goku who could rely on the strength of his friends and family in order to grow stronger is like taking everything that he understands and believes and throwing it out the window. It's that strong faith in himself that has gotten Jiren to this point, and there is no changing him.

I dont think it gets mentioned enough but at 1:41 Goku is creating Ki spheres on his hands and feet that he uses to maneuver through Jirens blasts. I just thought it was so sick when he did that since flying isn't allowed which he isnt doing here. Sure he could've just jumped but he wouldn't be able to have evaded it as smoothly as he did with the Ki spheres.

I dont know if a lot of people know this, but this is the reason goku lost control of mui, he was no longer on control of his emotions. Its explained later in the manga and that is why goku uses ui sign more because he can get angry without it backfiring.

It could be a retcon, but it's been established that Goku learns how to hold frame in a subconscious way. Meaning if it takes full calm to operate it, he's burning on the last bit of that spark plug outside of its full potential This is actually saying something because Jiren outpaces God ki, meaning that his movements were at least true. If a force threatened Zeno or the balance set in motion by that deity would it not be righteous anger on behalf of the angels to rectify things?

Arguably the worst line from goku. Youd think ultra instict is a form that would have his emotions in check and hed be locked in. Hes like the oppsite of locked in or calm. Honestly that seems that something that would be against their rules as those in the stands are out of the tournament and shouldn't be in play anymore. Realistically one of the angels or even Zeno should have stopped that blast.
