The asylum question is formular. They are keeping record on your file that you have no problem back home. If in the future you file for asylum, they may use that statement against you in court unless the new threat back home came into existence after you entered. Food for thought.

Dj, the police stopped him because of his luggages. His luggages were huge thats why. You can't spend two weeks carrying huge luggages. The police at the entrance will stop you after realising your luggages doesn't correspond to your period of stay
@fjohn898519 күн бұрын
You go through immigration first before you go pick up your luggage from the carousel.

He should look up Senegalese restaurants in Montreal. That would be close to the African foods he is used to, e.g. Diolo Montreal has cheap public transit. There is a ticket that allows unlimited travel from Friday 4 pm to Monday 5 am, that should allow him to explore Montreal proper.

Because your ticket says SSSS, which means extra security check-ups.I work around the immigration so I know what you faced. Whenever you see SSSS on your boarding pass, prepare for extra check up and questions
@albertkwekubening37819 күн бұрын
So, who indicates this SSSS on boarding ticket? Is it the Ghana immigration or the airline staff. Kindly assist us with this answer. Thank you

He should be aware that Canada Border Services Agency ( CBSA ) officers, under the Customs Act , have the authority to examine all goods that cross the border. This means that, just like your luggage, their officers can examine your cell phones, tablets, laptops and any other digital device you are carrying.
