Sorry to hear that happened to you. 😢 Aussie here from Sydney. My Father-in-Law got bitten by a White-tailed spider on his thumb, he had a very bad reaction. His thumb opened up into a huge ulcer. I was bitten once on my back. Not as many symptoms as you had, but a huge oozing sore. Don’t think they are deadly, however, they can, in some cases, cause some serious reactions. We get them in our bathroom in the Summer. Needless to say, they don’t last long in our house. Hope you are feeling better now.

What unbelievably rotten luck! But being the amazing pro you are… well, I simply don’t know how you got through those final shows! I was bitten by a nasty (European) spider once and after several days with a massive hard swelling on my leg I could also press out a lot of liquid. My bite wasn’t nearly as dramatic as yours (clear liquid came out, not pus) but it made me really anxious so I’m guessing that you must have been terrified. Wow! Can't understand how you were able to dance after being bitten by a poisonous spider, but I guess that just shows how strong you are! I have never been to Australia. When I think of visiting that country I always imagine getting bitten by one of those spiders. For those reading comments. . . I lived in Australia for 13 years, never got bitten by a poisonous spider, and don't know anyone who did. This is WILD and incredibly rare to a) get bitten at all and b) have such a serious reaction (white tip spider bites are mild, like a bee sting, however like a bee sting some people can go into anaphylactic shock).

It was so dagerous! There are not just spiders,but many poisonous & dangerous insects and animals in Australia! Amazing that you danced on the horrible situation! Hope all audience knew what you went through. In the Past, Mr.Micahel Barishnikov went through horrible conditon, to dance through, with broken ankle!

I'm so grateful it was a spider. That sounds odd, but I'm a Kiwi and I found Australia extremely uncomfortable. Aussies are quite xenophobic, although from what I hear it was just the circles I was in, up in Brisbane. I was fully click-baited thinking they fired you for something silly, or something like that. I'm glad your livelihood is intact, especially after you went through a scary period with that just recently. Everywhere has its fair share of risky wildlife, but that's still awful. I'm glad you got treatment and were still able to perform! I'm so proud of you for going on stage like that - I've been bitten before and it's nasty!

I enjoyed watching this vlog. Australia seems to have opened up alot more compared to how it was during the covid lockdowns when you had state premiers running around as dictators and allowing the police to smash people`s heads off the floor during unneccesary lockdowns and trying to force everyone to get vaccinated against their will. Now some Australian senators are speaking out about the 140,000 really serious vaccine side effects that have badly affected people. Do you still need a covid jab to gain entry into Australia?
