It’s a firing position for a guard post Mommie! It’s one of the ones on top of the fort that used to guard the entrance to the harbor in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The fort is called El Morro.

Me too Mommie! It was fun seeing all of the old artillery emplacements at the fort but I would DEFINITELY not have been one of the sharpshooters! Put me with the artillery crews and I'm happy!
